Chapter 9 - Chapter Nine: When Time Begins to Forget

 Abandoned Villa – Outskirts of Prague – 13:52 p.m. – February 10, 2027

The air in the room was still... too still. As if time hadn't stopped due to a malfunction—But because it forgot how to move.

The woman in the red coat was waiting. No one knew her name. Not even herself.

In front of her, a mirror draped with a gray cloth.

"I was erased from the sixth version.""And deleted from the seventh before I was even born.""But I can feel him... writing again."

Her hand slowly reached out… then removed the cloth.

But what appeared wasn't her reflection. It was Raien.A version of him not yet known, staring at her as if it had been waiting for her.

Her eyes didn't see the future,They saw an ancient mistake being rewritten.

Unregistered Zone – Border Between Event and Nonevent – 13:53 p.m.

Raien was falling. Not from height, but from entanglement.

The entanglement of awareness with what hadn't been chosen yet.The weaving of possibilities, like threads of a dream yet to be told.

Every choice he had made—Now detached from him like a soul departing the body after awakening.

"He's entered the pre-collapse stage."

A voice without a language.Just a conscious awareness speaking.

"Who is he now?"

"He's not Raien. He's the shadow of Raien—If he chose the whole truth without filters."

"His shadow became heavier than his origin."

Tbilisi – Same Tunnel – Same Moment

Niko began hearing his own voice... but from the mouth of the walls.

"What if all these stories are just the mind's way of preventing collapse?""What if Raien was never the center of the story, but a mistake in its writing?"

Niko laughed, for the first time in a long while.A short, bitter laugh, saturated with the despair of knowing:

"Yeah… maybe we're all just unnecessary corrections."

But the laugh didn't come out of him.It emerged from within…As if something else inside him was laughing on his behalf.

Paris – Outside of Time – 13:54 p.m.

Lima was not breathing. Not because she had died…But because the air had stopped recognizing her.

The child had vanished.Or maybe… he had moved to the place where everything is reassembled.

On the glass, the remnants of the drawing remained.

The eye had not just been drawn…It had opened. And anyone who looked at it felt as though someone was watching from the other side.

Inside the Monitoring Center – Forbidden Moment – 1:55 p.m.

All screens now showed only one Raien.

But he wasn't moving. He wasn't speaking. He wasn't thinking.

He was waiting.

His face was no longer human...It had become a face upon which entire universes were written—As if the ink that shaped him was now demanding to become the pen.

"Zero point is approaching."

"Shall we activate the purge protocols?"

"Impossible. He's outside the algorithm."

"Then what is he now?"

"Maybe...""...the writer himself."

Question for the reader:

❓ If you were given a single moment to rewrite yourself…Would you keep your name?Or begin again without a memory?
