Chapter 11 Training and Planning
"How's the progress going?" I questioned them.
"Your Majesty, there haven't been any progress made yet" the private tutors replied.
Sigh.. So progress haven't been made yet huh? Well that was to be expected.
"But Your Majesty, we trained their bodies so once they awaken–they shouldn't suffer any side effects" the private tutors explained.
"Continue training them" I spoke, eager to see.
"As you wish, Majesty" all of them replied, bowing down to me respectfully.
Just as the private tutors was about to return to train them, the teenagers quickly rushed their way to see me.
"We greet, Your Majesty" all of them greeted, bowing down in a respectful manner.
"What are you here in for Majesty?" one of them asked me.
"Yeah Majesty!" one of them replied, smiling.
"I'm here to see the progress of your training" I replied.
The teenagers looked visibly worried hearing my reply–hesitating to answer.
"Uhm… Majesty" the teenagers stuttered, did I look that cold to them?
"There's been no progress yet…" one of them said, standing nervously.
"It's okay–it takes time and patience" I replied trying to encourage them.
"Your Majesty, will there be punishments? the teenagers asked.
"What? Why would I do that?" I answered their questions, shocked from what I just heard.
"Who told you that?" I asked them.
"The people here training us" one of them replied.
"Is it true?" I asked, questioning the private tutors.
"You–your… Majesty, it's not true!" one of them stuttered replying to my question.
Just based on their reaction, I could already tell it was a lie.
"Don't do that again okay? I hired you for this job–so you better not mess it up" I replied, my voice cold.
"Yes Majesty!" all of them answered in unison.
"Kids, just focus back on training–with time and dedication, you will eventually awaken" I said to the teenagers trying to encourage them.
"Yes as you wish Majesty!" they replied, bowing down to me again.
They quickly returned back to their training–doing basic exercise like jogging and jumping jacks.
It was nice seeing them train, but I had to leave now.
I needed to plan for the things that would happen soon.
I strolled around the residence trying to find Sebastian.
At the distance where I'd finally see Sebastian–I quickly shouted "Sebastian!" calling for him.
"Yes, as you know…" "Oh his Majesty is calling me, I'm sorry but lets continue another time" Sebastian explained to them.
"Yes, Your Majesty?" he asked, wondering why I called him.
"Bring me back to the generals" I said out loud to him.
"As you wish Majesty" Sebastian replied.
I followed him until we got into an SUV–I got in first as always in the passenger seat, followed by him into the driver seat.
Vrrrrrrrr vroom the sound of the SUV's engine roared before coming to a stop at the gate.
Once we got past outside the gate, Sebastian quickly drove heading to my destination I told him.
One hour later…
At Antares Army Headquarters, Capital Antares.
"We're here, Your Majesty" Sebastian told me.
I slowly stepped out from the SUV, looking at the surroundings and being fascinated about it.
The Antares Army Headquarters was so large–it took several roads to cover them.
Soldiers could be seen practicing drills, marches and other trainings they were doing.
Military convoys, tanks–every military vehicle was spread out everywhere parked neatly in a line.
Weeeeooooohhhhhhh the sky roared.
The first plane prototype test was even conducted here and it meant more inventions like this would soon come out in the future.
I was admiring the view of it–compared to the game where it focused mainly on the story, seeing it in real life feels sure real.
"Your Majesty?" Sebastian said to me.
"Oh right, let's go inside" I replied to him.
The headquarter building was approximately 8th stories tall and spanned over by a large width.
We made our way inside, going to the 5th floor before stopping onto a room with a sign that read "Unauthorized members not allowed".
Creak… The door slowly opened.
I walked inside first, followed by Sebastian at my back.
"We greet, Your Majesty" the generals said altogether, bowing down to me.
The detailed map lying on the table–statistics paper pressed on the wall and the generals standing together, memories rushed inside my head.
The countless plan I always laid in the game was in this place, it was this moment I'd always been waiting for.
"Sit down everyone" I spoke out loud, ready to discuss my plan.
"Do you know why I'm here?" I said to them.
"We don't know, Your Majesty" the generals replied to me, confused.
"This is it–the time for my speech!" I thought.
This was the part I always liked about in the game because you had to prepare a speech about your grand ambition.
The grand ambition meant–world domination.
"Everyone… Ever since I became the Emperor, I always had a deeper ambitions… Different from my predecessors, I want to forge a new future for all of us"
"A future where we won't have to be oppressed anymore!" I explained trying to persuade them.
SLAM! I slammed the table saying it out loud "I want our nation to rise into a superpower!"
"For our nation to be a superpower–means conquest!" I yelled, trying to explain.
"You may not all get my ambition, but it is a dream I want to achieve!" I said, my face full of confidence.
Silence filled the room for a few seconds–then cheers erupted around the room.
Clap. Clap. Clap. The generals clapped after hearing my speech.
"Finally… Our long unfulfilled wish has been answered by His Majesty!" one general commented.
"Your Majesty, when shall we begin?" another general asked, waiting for an answer.
"After 1 month from now on" I declared, announcing the start of the conquest.
I stood up from my seat, leaving the room.
Sebastian followed next to me.
"Your Majesty, are you sure about this?" Sebastian asked me, doubtful of me.
"Trust me" I replied to him, confident of my decision.
The plans were complete, all I had to do now was lay their groundwork.
1 day later… At Capital Antares.
"Big news!" a citizen yelled, trying to gain attention.
Flyers were thrown everywhere in the city–some even flew around due to the wind.
"What's up with the commotion?" one citizen asked.
"Didn't you see the papers?" another citizen replied.
"Ah you mean those things that were thrown everywhere and stamped onto the walls?" a citizen asked.
"Yes–those things! Apparently a massive immobilization is currently on the way. Those are just recruitment notice thrown everywhere but they offer salaries out of this world!" one citizen explained.
