In a silent night, a full moon gleamed down on the mystical forest. Its light broke through the tall trees and reached an open area.
There was a farm. It was filled with crops that somehow thrived with little sunlight.
Next to it, there was a garden with all kinds of flowers. Each flower grown with care and attention. Together, they glowed different shades of colors, and they swayed with a calm breeze.
From the depths of the forest, Pepe, Stark, Matteo, and Hafen arrived at the farm. They gazed around in awe.
Pepe smiled.
"It's... It's home," Hafen stuttered, struggling to comprehend how they found a way back. He couldn't help but smile, as well.
The three young boys exchanged looks and sighed in relief.
"Yay! We've made it back!" Matteo exclaimed with excitement. He ran ahead and along the farm.
"Matteo! Hold on," Stark yelled and chased after him.
Hafen and Pepe walked at their own pace through the farm and garden.
"Pepe, do you think Adelia and Henry are asleep," Hafen asked.
Pepe hesitated for a moment. Then, he chuckled and responded, "No chance."
"Are we not going to get in trouble again," Hafen questioned.
Pepe stopped in his tracks. He smirked and turned to Hafen. "Well, Stark wanted us to meet his friend. I wasn't going to say no to his pleading stare," he replied. He remembered the exact instance earlier in the day.
"Since you're here, please, Pepe. He should be nearby, and he's strong. You won't be disappointed. Trust me," Stark begged. His dark green eyes were wide and watery, and his hands were pressed together between him and Pepe.
Almost exacerbated, Pepe averted his gaze and puffed up his cheeks. "Fine," he relented and muttered.
Stark hopped with joy. With the thought of them meeting his friend, he had a whole minute of what felt like everlasting bliss.
Currently, Pepe patted Hafen's shoulder. He continued walking with his hands behind his head. His feet slightly scraped against the dirt. "It was a nice little adventure. Wouldn't you say," he added.
Hafen stared at his back. He noticed Stark and Matteo further ahead.
Past the farm and garden, Matteo opened the door to a small house.
Stark finally reached him and leaned forward. He rested his hands on his knees and gasped for air. "Wait," he demanded in a whisper.
Hafen sighed and murmured, "I guess it was nice."
