As the beam dissipated, there were no remains of Zombie Queen.
The zombies were confused and lost. They glanced around and groaned. They did not know what to do.
In the meantime, General Bobby alerted Pepe to enter the helicopter. He descended.
Pepe entered the helicopter.
General Bobby urged that Zombie Land was collapsing.
As rocks fell from the ceiling, the helicopter headed to the three brothers.
Stark, Hafen, and Matteo fell to the ground, unconscious. They were depleted of energy. The flames, water, and plants vanished into the thin air.
Pepe created vines that wrapped around the three brothers. He pulled them towards the helicopter.
General Bobby picked up Stark, and Pepe carried Hafen. Lucius took hold of Matteo.
The remaining zombies were crushed by the falling rocks.
As Zombie Land collapsed, the helicopter flew through the hole in the ceiling into the night sky.
General Bobby, Pepe, and Lucius stared at the sky.
A shooting star passed.
Lucius commented on the view.
Pepe replied that it was beautiful.
General Bobby alleged that it was the mark of a new beginning.
The three brothers rested and dreamed. They dreamed about the other kids of The Sacred Forest. They wondered what happened to them and if they were safe. The cold wind brushed against their faces.
General Bobby looked back at them and smiled. He was proud of the three brothers. Their journey had just begun, and they were already heroes. Marcus would be proud, as well. He thanked Pepe for his help and for being an older brother to the three brothers.
Pepe chuckled and asserted that it was no trouble. His chest was bandaged. He admitted that he had a feeling that they would meet again.
Lucius hoped so. He commented that he would like to learn a few tricks with his elemental trident.
Pepe laughed and nodded. The helicopter flew through the night.
A few days passed, and a news channel could be heard playing on a screen.
An anchorwoman announced that the zombie invasion had ended, and the zombies were no more. She reported that there were still many injured. She added that the search for Teen Zombie Princess was ongoing, and there were no signs of her.
A picture of her was displayed on the screen.
The anchorwoman continued that in a few minutes, General Bobby was expected to give a speech about the events that occurred. She informed that it would be brought to them by Wheelstead Media Network.
A logo appeared on the screen.
After a short while, General Bobby appeared on a balcony and faced the people of Sillisos City. Live on the news, he stood on a podium and readied to give out a speech.
Next to him, Pepe, Stark, Matteo, and Hafen stood on the stage.
After he tested the microphone, General Bobby confirmed that it was the end of the zombie apocalypse. He declared that they have defeated the zombies with the help of the Legendary War Hero, Marcus, and won the war. He solemnly divulged that Marcus was killed in battle.
General Bobby remarked that Marcus had four apprentices, Pepe, Matteo, Stark, and Hafen. He continued that these apprentices guaranteed victory for the humans when they killed most of the zombies' leaders.
He paused and proclaimed that because of them, a peaceful era may begin. He finished that as one of the Three Legendary Heroes, it would be an honor to hand the next generation of heroes Stribora's praises. He smiled and saluted.
The crowd clapped and cheered. Fireworks were launched, and they burst in the air.
Pepe and the three brothers watched them, and they were concerned.
General Bobby noticed and assured them that they were not bombs, but fireworks. He explained that they were to celebrate their victory.
Matteo gulped, Stark was in awe, and Hafen was skeptical.
Pepe pointed and yelled that one of them looked like him.
The three brothers looked at him, and they chuckled.
General Bobby approached them with their medals of honor. He placed the medals around the necks of the new heroes.
While Stark smelled the medal, Matteo wondered how it was heavier than it looked.
Meanwhile, Pepe smiled for the cameras, and Hafen made sure he wore his sunglasses for the occasion.
The crowd applauded and chanted their names.
General Bobby stepped aside and motioned for the new heroes to wave at the crowd.
Hesitant, Pepe, Stark, Matteo, and Hafen waved at the crowd.
In a dark room, a mysterious group of cloaked figures sat in a circle. They watched General Bobby's speech.
A female cloaked figure muttered that it was a shame. She continued that she even gave her a second chance. She asserted that Zombie Queen was a failure. She rested her elbow on the table, and her head sat on her hand. She grumbled, and her scarlet hair flowed out of her hood. She glanced across and wondered if she should had joined with The Exalted One instead.
Another female cloaked figure complimented that her plan was not bad. She added that it gave her a few ideas. She turned to The Exalted One and inquired what he thought about his former assistant's death.
Across, The Exalted One sighed. He claimed that Zombie Queen would have been fine if she had stayed by his side. He added that it was a shame that she was too focused on distractions. He retorted that it worked in their favor though. His attention was devoted to the three brothers.
Another cloaked figure questioned how.
A cloaked figure entered the room and interrupted that one of their scientist's inventions were ready.
The Exalted One inquired if they were prepared for the next war.
A different cloaked figure menacingly laughed and confirmed. He ordered to have them released.
In the screen, the camera zoomed into the three brothers.
The Exalted One smirked and laughed like he was having a conversation with someone.
