after having training for some time and resting Alex would be on the front of the gym, he would open the door entering inside and looking at the reception Alex would walk to the front "hey I wanna have a battle against the gym leader" the girl would look at Alex "you can have one at the 3 pm but you will need to fight 2 trainers first okay?" "okay, when will I begin?" Alex would ask the girl "in 30 minutes also give me you're name so I can put it in the information" "Alex" "ok then you can wait on the couch right there" she would point at the couch "ok thanks" alex would sit on the couch waiting for his turn to fight
after 30 minutes they would call Alex up to the field Alex would enter with his tree Pokemons on his pokeballs and looking at the boy he was going against "how is the battle going to be?" Alex would ask the boy "it would be a 2v2 and you can do as many changes as you want to, so let's begin"
the boy would throw his PokeBall letting out a Geodude, and Alex seeing the Geodude would take out larvitar "larvitar go!" larvitar would get out of his PokeBall looking at the Geodude "a larvitar?" the boy would be surprised seeing a larvitar because larvitar was very rare and even more in sinnoh but the boy would concentrate giving his first command "Geodude bulldoze!" "larvitar use rock polish and then use ironhead!" Alex would know that it was almost impossible to dodge the bulldoze and more if larvitar was slow and can't fly so he would try to do a ironhead and make Geodude flinch
so larvitar would use rock polish and then with his speed boosted he would use ironhead but it wouldn't make Geodude flinch but it would make very good damage but then larvitar would get a bulldoze directly making big damage "larvitar get back!" larvitar would get back gaining some distance "larvitar use another rock polish we don't have other strategy" larvitar would use rock polish again and this time with his velocity boosted by 2 and the luck by their side Geodude would flinch "larvitar use ironhead again!" larvitar would use ironhead again this time defeating Geodude
"yes!, that's the first one down" larvitar would celebrate too "ok larvitar calm down this isn't over yet" the boy would take out a bonsly "ok larvitar use ironhead again!" larvitar would jump using iron head against the bonsly but bonsly would stop it "double kick?" bonsly would stop it with one kick and with the other it would kick larvitar straight on the stomach sending him flying "larvitar!" larvitar would have fainted "Damn, larvitar come back" Alex would change PokeBall "come out riolu!" riolu would get out of his PokeBall looking at bonsly "riolu use work up 2 times" riolu would begin to use work up but bonsly would interrupt it not letting riolu finish the second one, the only would use headbutt, making riolu get back grabbing some distance
"riolu get closer to bonsly and use metal claw" "Riolu" riolu would follow alex's command using metal claw against the only and bonsly would once against use double kick but riolu would continue attacking and bonsly couldn't hold back all of riolu's attack and he would begin to take damage so bonsly would get back wanting some distance but riolu would cut the distance immidiately using force palm against the bonsly but bonsly would endure it using headbutt but riolu would continue and both Pokemons would begin to kick and punch each other, every time riolu tried to connect the metal claw it would be blocked by bonsly's double kick both of them going back and forth, Alex seeing that none of them was gaining the upper hand he would think of riolu's moves and then he would have an idea "riolu use feint!" riolu would make a fake punch making bonsly though it was going from that side but it was going from the other side and then it would punch it and this would break trough bonsly's defence "now metal claw!"
riolu now seeing the space would use metal claw again making big damage to bonsly "bonsly use headbutt again while he's recovering!" the boy would yell to bonsly and bonsly seeing that riolu was trying to gain some distance would use headbutt making riolu wince in pain "don't back out riolu, now use force palm!" "headbutt!" both bonsly and riolu would use their stronger attacks giving their all, both riolu and bonsly would fall to the floor but after some moments riolu would stand up breathing heavily while bonsly would have fainter "Yesss!!! riolu you did it we win!" riolu would run to Alex hugging him and Alex would hug riolu tightly "good job both you're riolu and larvitar made it excelent congratulations for the win"
the boy would say "what's you're name?" Alex would ask "Samuel, and good battle" Samuel would begin to walk getting out of the arena "it was an intense battle wasn't it riolu?" "Rio, riolu" riolu would agree with alex's commentary 'let's go rest home tomorrow is the next battle and I need you and larvitar to be on full energy for tomorrow so let's go rest home" Alex would get out of the arena too getting to the reception area "hey madam at what hour is the next battle?" the girl would look at Alex "tomorrow at the same hour" "ok, thanks" Alex would walk through the door getting out of the gym and going to their hotel "good job for you're first official win guys, it was such a good battle we need to continue like this, so let's win the next fight and get our first gym badge!"
