The media arrived after the firefighters and some heroes. They saw the building still frozen, the firefighters rescuing more people in the building, and the ambulances kept coming and going.
A young man was being talked to by the authorities as if he were being scolded, while the young man was just listening carefully. The media then decided to film them and approach to hear the conversation. What they heard shocked them.
"I know that you only wanted to help, but with a strong quirk like that, if you were to unconsciously release your quirk on a larger scale, it could hurt innocent people," The officer said, reminding him to be responsible for his quirk, while the police were scolding Aokiji, they were interrupted by the media approaching them.
"Uhmm, excuse me, I'm a reporter from Juko News, can we know why you are scolding this man?" The interviewer said, asking about what is happening to get the scoop.
"Well, this young man used his quirk to freeze that building to help residents, but using quirks publicly was banned for a reason. This young man doesn't have a hero license, which is a shame since he has a strong quirk," The officer said, explaining the situation.
"Excuse me, I'm a reporter from Juko News. Could I ask you why you didn't choose to become a hero when you were in high school? With a strong quirk like that, I'm sure you would be a pro, maybe one of the stronger ones," the interviewer said, as she wanted to know the full story.
"Uhmm, I'm planning to become a hero, it's just I'm only 10 years old so I'm still not allowed to join U.A.," Aokiji replied, shocking the officer and the reporter as Aokiji was standing at 2 meters tall, with a face that looked older than they appear,
"What? Really?" The reporter asked, wanting to clarify if it's the truth or not, but Aokij just nodded. The officer then looked at the frozen building, realizing that the quirk of this 10-year-old was so strong that it froze the entire building in one process.
"May we ask what's your name?" The reporter then ask, wanting to know the name of this incredibly strong child to watch out for the future.
"Kuzan Aokiji," Aokiji replied, saying his name towards the camera that was still rolling.
This made the reporter realize something, but since she's not sure, she asked Aokiji once more.
"Are you perhaps related to the Kuzan family?, The family prominent for their Ice quirks," The reporter then asked,
"Yes, Kuzan Fubuki is my mother," Aokiji said, and as if great timing, the Kenji Tsuragamae, the chief of police with a dog quirk, arrived, and immediately removed Aokiji from the situation, he wanted to remove Aokiji from the situation as it had already blown to all sorts of proportions, as he was a son of a former higher ranking hero, he was also the grandson of the current head of Hero Public Safety Commission.
The fearsome man that removed the previous chief with a scheme that not only destroyed his life, but also the life of everything he touches, he was so ruthless about maintaining the status quo of the heroes with the public that he treated everything that's not a family as a tool that can be used, the Police force chiefs know all of this but there's nothing they can do about it, now, his grandson just broke a rule that is a big taboo for the Hero's Public Safety Commission, with a lowly officer scolding his grandson, there's no telling what would happen, so he arrived here to mitigate the situation.
"Allow me to apologize for the scolding, but as you can see, we take our duties seriously, as you could've hurt innocent bystanders if you fail to control your quirk. My officer is just doing the duty he declared in his oath." Kenji said towards Aokiji, as he thought that with Aokiji being a rule breaker, he thought he was spoiled rotten by his parents, as he know both Fubuki and Goro first hand.
"Ohhh, I didn't mind it, if anything I became more eager to get my hero licesnce as that would mean I would be able to use my quirk publicly to help someone in need," Aokiji said, confused about why would the Chief of Police apologize for something as simple as scolding, he knew the Chief of Police to be a stern believer of following the rules as he scolded the ones involve with the catching of Hero Killer Stain, even if there's a loop hole they used, Kenji still made them nervous.
"Oh, it seems that I misjudged you a little bit," Kenji said, as he heard the tone of Aokiji's voice and realized that he did not mind the scolding.
"Misjudged?" Aokiji asked, confused about what Kenji meant.
"Nothing, well, I'll call your parents, and let them know where you are, in the meantime, you could stay here, to avoid the media, as I know how pesky they are," Kenji said, as he dialed the number of Goro and Fubuki in his phone, while Aokiji just looked at the surroundings, and glancing on the building that's still covered in ice.
