After a couple of minutes, Shane finally pulled up at the school's gate.
As the girls stepped out of the car, Shane said, "I'm thankful for dinner today, maybe we can do it again?"
"I'm glad you enjoyed dinner, but we would have to ask my brothers, and judging from tonight, I can see that they are both wary of you," Camille replied with a small laugh.
"Maybe, they haven't gotten to see the real me. Perhaps if they do, they might want to be friends with me," Shane smiled.
"I never expected that you'd be one to want to be friends with people, it's not just your character," Shayla spoke from the sidelines, and Shane gave her a pointed look in response.
"Just saying," she said, raising her hands in defeat.
"We will get going now, thanks for dropping us off," Camille thanked him, and without waiting for him to say anything, she directly pulled Shayla and walked away.
Shane chuckled as he watched them walk away.
