Chapter 13 - CHAPTER 13

In the evening, when Yue had ordered Song to bring some dumplings for him since he was craving them, Yue was standing outside his place waiting for Song.

Those dumplings were special, only found in a shop in the nearest town, and that dumpling shop was always a very crowded place.

Just then, Song came with dumplings in his hands.

[ "Host—I mean, Boss—why are you so foodie in this situation? You should be worried about your position! Your husband just got married and brought the Empress home, and here you are, eating dumplings."

"Bunny, I have to keep my stomach full if I want to complete this mission." ]

Yue took the dumplings from Song, and a very delicious smell was coming from them, making Yue's mouth water so much that he was about to go in and start eating, but just then—

"Is that the smell of dumplings?" A woman's voice reached his ears, and that's why he stopped and glanced to his left side.

It was a woman. Obviously, who else could it be? She was the Empress ming—the one Hao had just married. And she was a beautiful lady.

[ "Boss, is she the Empress that dog married? No way! She's not beautiful at all—she looks like an insect compared to you."

"Well, I was born with looks, so I can't blame her for being ugly. But she looks cute, don't you think?"

"Don't forget your mission, Boss! She's your rival—the one who snatched your husband from you! And you're out here giving her compliments and calling her cute?"

"Well, she is cute. That's why I'm calling her cute."

"Then let me tell you—she's the villain of this story! She made the previous owner of this body's life hell and even had him killed by Hao."

"What! She's not a cutie—she's a witch!" ]

Yue stepped forward toward her. "Did you say something?"

"Yes… Are those dumplings? Can you give them to me? Because I'm really craving dumplings right now," she said, making a pitiful face.

"What? You want dumplings? You know these are my favorite."

And just then, Yue noticed Hao coming over, and after reaching there, he stood beside that woman ming, even letting her hug his arm while he stared at Yue.

[ "Boss, I'm remembering something about the plotline... That the Emperor has split personality or something? And now, looking at him, I'm sure what I read was right."

"Wow, Bunny! You're telling me this now? Why didn't you wait to tell me this s when our mission will be failed?! You idiot! Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"Sorry, Boss… I forgot about it." ]

"What happened? What are you doing here?" Hao asked Ming.

"Your Majesty, those dumplings—I wanted to try them, but he refused to give me," she said in a sad tone with tearful eyes.

Like if she didn't get those dumplings to eat today, she could die. And hearing her, Hao looked at Yue and then at the dumplings which were in his hands.

"If my empress wants to eat, then give her those dumplings right now," Hao ordered Yue.

"No, Your Majesty, these are my dumplings. My servant went into the town and brought these for me. Why would I give them to her?"

"It's okay, Your Majesty. I don't want to eat anymore, even though I was really craving them," Ming said, hugging Hao's arm.

The fact was, when she got married and became the empress, she knew about Yue—how Hao used to favor him, and even announced that he was going to make him the empress.

But then, out of nowhere, he suddenly got married to her and made her the empress.

She knew that her position wasn't permanent yet. Yue was still there, because who knows when the emperor might start favoring Yue again.

That's why she was making sure to keep taking everything that belonged to Yue.

"GIVE THOSE DUMPLINGS TO MY EMPRESS RIGHT NOW!"

Hao shouted in anger, and his voice was so loud that nearby servants also heard it. That's why Yue gave the dumplings to Ming and ran inside.

["Boss, your husband really doesn't remember you, and that Ming is about to do something—I'm sure, just by her expression."

"It's good that now she'll do something, and we'll just wait for her to take a step. And she took my favorite dumplings, so I'm not gonna leave her alone."]

Bunny chuckled hearing that.

Now, Yue was teaching Han everything. Of course, since the last tutor, Hao hadn't sent any new tutor to teach Han at all.

That's why Yue was teaching him—and he was a very strict teacher.

"No, I'm not going to write this. It's so difficult. And you're not the way I used to know before. You're a different person now," Han said while writing.

"Say one more word, and you'll have to write this more than ten times. You're going to become the Crown Prince soon. How could it be possible that you don't know anything? You have to learn."

While Yue was busy teaching Han, Song suddenly rushed inside. His face was sweaty, and he looked extremely scared.

"What happened? Why do you look like this? Like some kind of dog is after you," Silas said, then turned his focus back to Han.

"Master, Empress Ming vomited blood after eating the dumplings that were given by you."

"Really? Then did she die, or is she still alive?"

"What are you saying, Master? I know you didn't poison those dumplings, because it was me who brought them from the town. You were the one who was going to eat those dumplings. She's accusing you."

"It's nothing. Just focus on your work. If something happens, I'll handle it."

Song started cleaning the whole place as Yue said that. And just then, four or five knights rushed inside and grabbed Yue.

"Hey, what are you doing? Let go of my master right now!" Song shouted.

Han also stood up from his place. But Yue was calm as hell.
