The day before the entrance exam concluded. His Father, Victor, visit the school and brought Reymund back home. The next day morning is when this chapter continues.
"Reymund Wake up! wake up!"
who is that. why does my heads hurt so much. and its hard to open my eyes.
I slowly opened my eyes and i see my mom face and... hmm!
"Owh, Elsy-san whats up!" my first reply after waking up
just a few moment Elsy suddenly hugged me.
followed by saying "Idiot! why are you like this. every time you do something you always end up passing out" Elsy complains at him
"What is with you always fainting, whatever situations you're in. huh? i am worried sick you know"
"before you do that foolish act, keep in mind that i am getting hurt too, Idiot!!!"
Then she started running out the room crying and forcefully close the door shut. BAMM!
"Owh my, its like i walked into a lovers quarrel" his mom mentions
"Mom don't tease me"
"Mom what actually happened while i was out, did i passed the entrance exam?" Reymund asks
"uh-uh-uh, it not me you should be asking that, your cute childhood friend has been with you that time right?"
"you might not know this but Eloise-san, always visits you, you know."
"She always takes care of you when mom and dad is not home"
"so don't make her worry so much okay, you're her first best friend, of course she will get mad at you for being reckless"
"So make up with her okay, i don't want to see you both start distancing each other"
My mom advice me directly, i mean she was right. i can act reckless sometimes. and it is starting to bother her. she is the type of girl that would invade my life to save me, the type of angel that i never asks but turns out i could really need in my life.
i started walking out the room and says to my mom "thank you mom. I'm gonna apologize to her"
After that i looked through out house but i cant find her. i walk to the place where we usually play.
Whenever we felt bored at the house we always play at this small hill, right on top is a single tree where we usually play.
While i was walking i felt this cold breeze as i get near the top.
"There she is..."
i slowly approach her "Hey I'm okay now, I'm sorry if I've been acting nonchalant about things"
Elsy then gaze at me with an side eye and then she quickly avert her eyes while saying hmmm..
"Come on i apologize okay, look, i was in a wrong"
I still remember the promise she made from me, that she will protect me. but all i do is knocking myself out.
i explained to her " look i know that, that is the only way for me to stop that magic, i planed it all from the start. So you don't have to worry so much about me"
"It was cool though" She mumble
I did not hear that "what?"
She replied "Nothing, you could've told me about it" while her eyes still averted at me.
"What's the point of showing off to my cute childhood friend" i jokingly told her
She then started pouting her reddish face.
I hugged her and said "Okay that's enough, calm down." while patting her head.
It took several minutes to calm her down.
She then complains to him "you didn't see me aced the entrance exam, that's what I'm mad about"
"While you were sleeping on the clinic, i was doing my best to control my magic"
Now that i think about, yeah it sucks that i did not see my friend's performance in the exam.
"I'm sorry okay, don't you worry about it both of us passed the exam anyways. so i will still be seeing you try your best"
"but i do wish you would show off less, i don't wanna see other boys crushing over you"
i was trying to remind Elsy-san to be careful and not go overborne.
"Ow really now?, thank you for considering that but everyone is already trying to be friends with me, you're already late " she's bragging about it
she is laughing it off while i am gripping her shoulder and shaking her
"What did you say!" i replied
And it continued, we reconciled after that.
Lets go back yesterday, after the entrance exam was concluded. All the supervisors are checking on the results of the entrance exam.
The proctor who was supervising Reymund's batch was reviewing the results. one professor reach out to him.
"Hey i have this student who is .5 away from passing the practical exam. should i consider this as Ok?"
"Its up to you. this grading system still depends on your choice. one can even pass the exam even if both written and practical exam failed" he responded.
"I can't do that, we all know that is chea-" the professor was about to reply back but was cut.
"You're still new to this, that's great. I respect that."
"But the world is corrupt, following the rules could sometimes be detrimental" He followed
He then looks at the result of the student that the professor is referring.
"That last name, is worrying."
"Try breaking the rules if i were you, for your safety." he warns the professor.
That professor then go back to his sit. while the proctor looks at his test result.
Elinoise Aston, she's the top scorer both written and practical. she have total control of her magic. Have an outstanding mana pool, was able to complete all the requirements in less than a minute, while only using 15% of her mana capacity. A feats that would be worthy calling hero, there is no negative feedback that i can see to her.
Bryant McGonadaile, need more practice at written, and was a bit excessive during practical. he has an attitude, but was able to used telekinesis magic. A magic only exclusive for the McGonadaile bloodline, if nourished he can be a good asset
Diane Reese, aced the written exam. need more practice to get use on her plant magic. she is carrying a plant seed bought from a local store. as for her capabilities, she has total control with her plant magic, when her innate magic is active her surrounding grows flower from an existing plant. A magic never seen before from a commoner. My only worries, what if she has control from plants eaten by a person, could she kill them for that.
Lastly, Reymund Elnier, barely passed the written exam, was just fortunate enough to passed the practical. By unintentionally depleting all his mana, his arrow magic started getting scattered around flying all directions, not hitting the dummy. He is smart, but not that smart... he has a lot more to learn.
these are the only exceptional students that i can see in this batch, the rest are usual, He think to himself
The proctor then sigh a relief as he lean to the chair and look at the ceiling. After a while he check at his desk's file cabinet and brings out the device that can measure the magic power.
It is turned off as he looks at it intensely reminiscing what happened at the exam.
Apparently during the time Reymund was totally unconscious as he was brought to the clinic. The proctor was about to restart the device but upon checking the last magic power recorded was 600%.
During those times while the other examinee is playing around. he was standing there stiff.
Back to the office.
He think to himself, "there's no doubt about it, that is the forgotten magic Mystic boom, to be able to exponentially increase ones magic without limitation, as long as you have the mana it has no limitation, Never could have thought that the Elnier's bloodline holds that power.
The highest Magic power recorded in history was by an inheritor of Mystic boom magic, dated five-thousand years ago in the Demon-Human War was 50,000,000%. some historian say it was a basic fire ball magic that wiped out the entire demon continent leaving nothing but rubble.
Imagine if an highly advance offensive magic was powered 50,000,000%, who else is gonna be able to stop it? how immense is gonna be the destruction?
History also mentions that knowing such power exist they massacred all bloodline that inheritor has.
And what if Princess Alexandra Von Atreus and Reymund had a secret child possessing both infinite mana and infinite magic.
The proctor started blushing and shipping them uncontrollably, turns out he has a tendency to daydream those Out of status Romance cliché. thankfully nobody was looking at him wiggling and stomping his feet.
"If the entire world found out about this, it will be the end of Reymund." He thought while clearly looking like a tomato.

Next few more days after the reconciliation of the two.
Now is the start of the school
All student can be seen walking from school. with shoulder bags or backpack. Rich individual can be seen getting dropped off by a horse carriage.
"Oh lucky them, i wanna ride a limousine" says Reymund
"What's that?" Elsy Asked
"Nevermind that just a suddenly utter"
Both of them are out one the students that's just walking to school.
Reymund cant seem to stop staring at Elinoise uniform.
That deep navy with a faint shimmer woven into the fabric, which catches the light with a silver shine. The blazer features a high collar and silver piping around the borders, with the school's logo - Gumamela Flower with red-pink color on the middle and shining white on the edges.
Crisp white shirt with a thin silver thread going through the seams. Hidden buttons are inscribed with small runes that gently shine in poor lighting.
And don't forget that Charcoal-gray High-waisted pleated mini skirt with adjustable hems. A floral design is softly woven into the fabric and only apparent under moonlight or UV light.
And lastly that, Black Buckle Chelsea Ankle Boots on top of it.
That's one of the coolest looking fantasy uniform I've ever seen, which, don't get me wrong I've only gone to grade school on my previous life so...
And then Remund take a glimpse on her natural face.
He thinks to himself, is the uniform really that cute to look at or is it Elsy that's wearing them that's making them look cute?
Elsy then signed and looks at Reymund "You know Rey, you don't even need to tell me. you think I'm cute aren't you" with a cute pose.
And Reymund replied "don't get too full of yourself" as he looks away.
Both of them then went pass someone' butler, while he slowly open the carriage door for his master.

Both of then went to the board of passers and see their respected rooms.
Elsy first saw her name as the number 1 scorer and currently on the Class 1 -A.
Some students finds their name missing, and others find their Classroom different from their circle of friends.
Some are upset and others are devastated by the result.
Reymund then calls Elsy out after done going to the restroom.
"Elsy-san, help me find my Class" He requested.
After asking that, Elsy leaves no time to waste and instant looks at the lowest scorer available for Class 1 - A.
"There you are, the lowest of the high" She replied with a smug look on her face.
While looking irritated, in his mind, he thinks "you sly turd nugget" as he clenched his fist in frustration.

Meanwhile in the class Reymund walks into the room first without telling Elsy as a revenge for earlier. He promised to wait for her on the hallway while she goes to the restroom, only to leave her there.
He sits on the usual Main character sit, not because he knows, but because he doesn't want to stand out too much.
then Elsy went inside the room staring dagger at him.
Reymund can be seen considering his life choice "Did i pissed her that much!"
When the morning class started all student's on the hallway quickly goes to their respected rooms. Reymund started to think back what he did as his childhood friend now sit on the front row sit, still mad at him.
He then leans his right arm on the arm chair and facepalm while thinking "what have i done"
