Well, it seemed that he was going to train a bit more. As he scanned the room, Naruto also noticed some other scrolls—particularly a few jutsu scrolls.
He began reading one: "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu."
"Nah, I'm good," he muttered, setting it aside.
He picked up another. "Hmm… the clone jutsu… oh, Shadow Clone Jutsu." He read it more carefully. Requires a large amount of chakra… Naruto finished reading through the entire scroll and nodded thoughtfully.
"This could be useful for learning, definitely."
He looked over the hand signs, then nodded again. After that, he casually tossed the scroll back into its place. He decided to pay a visit to the other library. He couldn't stay here too long—otherwise, his parents would start asking questions, and he didn't want that. He especially didn't want to disturb his siblings. After all, they were incredibly weak and needed all the training in the world just to become slightly stronger.
Though they'll never be comparable to me, a small voice echoed in his mind.
Naruto shook his head. He didn't have much emotional attachment to his family. So, he vanished from the area and arrived at another, more secluded library. This one had a section labeled "Beginner's Sealing Theory" and "For Dummies."
The first book he picked up was written by Tobirama Senju—A Simple Understanding of Sealing for the Future. Naruto began to read.
"I'll let my clones handle this part," he muttered, creating a few shadow clones who immediately started studying the books.
With that, Naruto left them to it and went off to do his own training.
One month later
Naruto's shadow clones were scattered around a hidden training area, writing complex sealing formulas across the ground and on various trees. Meanwhile, Naruto stood in the center, arms folded, watching the progress.
In just one month, he had mastered Gravity Seal Level 5.
He smirked. "Looks like I really am a prodigy when it comes to sealing…"
He had also learned that creating a basic explosive tag placed someone at Level 2, while crafting an advanced explosive tag ranked at Level 3. Naruto shook his head.
"These ranking levels aren't even that impressive," he muttered. "It's actually pretty easy to understand this stuff."
He continued inscribing seals across the training ground. This part of the Forest of Death was far removed from the central tower—deep inside, on the opposite end of the main gate. It was a place even that strange woman, Anko Mitarashi, didn't dare to enter.
No—absolutely no—animal would dare to attack him, no matter how exhausted he might be after his training.
Not that exhaustion ever lasted long. His chakra constantly obeyed the other power within him, always healing his body and keeping him in peak condition.
Naruto simply shook his head. "It's about time I begin real training," he said, activating the gravity seal. At that moment, it was still only at Level Five.
He nodded firmly and stepped into the designated training ground. Instantly, he could feel pressure weighing down on his body, but it wasn't unbearable—he shook it off easily. The added weight would only enhance the benefits of his training.

At this time, Naruto was training relentlessly. He was now eight years old(5 min older than his siblings), as were his siblings. All of them had recently decided to enter the Ninja Academy.
At home, Minato was standing with Mito and Menma, along with Kushina. Both children were smiling excitedly.
"Well, Menma, Mito," Minato said warmly, "it's about time you entered the Academy."
Mito pouted slightly. "But Dad, do we really have to go? I mean… you could train us to become shinobi, right?"
Menma chimed in, nodding. "Yeah, and godfather said the same thing—he could train us way better than any academy teacher."
Minato laughed lightly. "Well, you see, Menma… I'm enrolling you both into the class meant for clan heirs. It'll help you make friends—and possibly even connections—for the future. That will be important."
Menma scoffed. "They'll just be weak compared to me anyway."
Minato chuckled, but gently warned, "Don't think like that. Overconfidence can be dangerous. Remember, in the shinobi world, strength isn't everything."
Menma sighed but nodded. Kushina smiled and asked, "So, are you two ready?"
Both nodded eagerly just as they were about to head out—when another voice spoke up.
"I'll be coming with you… if you don't mind."
All four of them stopped in surprise. Minato and Kushina turned around to see Naruto standing calmly, a neutral expression on his face. He was holding a form in his hand.
Raising an eyebrow, Naruto stepped forward and said, "I'll need your signature here, Father—if you don't mind."
Minato blinked, surprised. He had almost forgotten—he still hadn't officially enrolled Naruto into the Academy. Lately, Naruto had barely been at home. Even during dinners and family moments, he was absent.
Where has he been spending his time? Minato wondered briefly.
But he quickly pushed the thought aside. As Hokage, he'd been far too busy. Still… maybe he should start spending more time with Naruto. Maybe he should have been training him too.
"Ah, Naruto, I was wondering where you actually were." Minato could easily see through the facade, but to be honest, he didn't press the matter. Kushina also felt a bit guilty about it, though she said nothing.
Meanwhile, Menma and Mito looked at Naruto strangely. They hadn't interacted much with their older brother, but whenever they did, they never thought he was weak. There was always a strange aura around him. Whenever they thought about challenging him or confronting him in any way, that aura would instinctively scare them off. Something in their gut always told them: stay away.
Though their parents hadn't noticed it, they assumed it was because of the Nine-Tails' power sealed inside them. Still, for some reason, their older brother was never training with them, and they had once assumed he was weak. But that ominous presence around him warned them—challenging him would be a mistake they'd never forget. And that terrified them.
Minato had already signed the forms. "Alright, Naruto, why don't you join us?" he said.
Naruto simply shrugged and nodded.
Finally, they arrived at the Academy. Minato and Kushina submitted the admission forms for all three children. Kushina noticed both Manma and Mito giving nervous glances toward Naruto. She assumed it was just because they hadn't spent much time with him. A determined look came over her face.
From now on, she thought, we'll start inviting Naruto to dinner again. He's always outside the house, and I honestly have no idea where he goes. We've been focusing all our attention on training Menma and Mito… and I know we've neglected him. When the time comes—maybe when he becomes a Chūnin—we'll begin his formal training. But right now, the training of Menma and Mito is more important.
Still, she thought, at the very least I can ask him to join us for dinners.
Just then, Minato vanished, saying he needed to meet with the Council to prepare a small sparring match and a tournament to assess the level of the incoming Academy students.
Kushina nodded at that. She knelt down and smiled at her children. "Well, Menma, Mito, it seems there's going to be a small tournament to gauge the new year's students. You'll both be participating, right?"
Menma smirked. "Of course, Mom! I'm going to participate, and I'm definitely going to win!"
Mito huffed. "Hah! As if. I'm the one who's going to win this." Mito said with a confident smile.
But then her gaze shifted toward Naruto. There was a bit of nervousness—and a touch of guilt—on her face, knowing deep down that their other sibling had never received the same training and attention. She hesitated, then asked, "Um… Naruto, are you going to take part in the tournament too?"
Naruto simply shrugged. "Why not? It'll help me gauge the level of my classmates… see if any of them are even worth recognizing."
Kushina was slightly surprised. Naruto had spoken as if the others were beneath him. Manma and Mito also noticed that—both narrowing their eyes slightly. There was something about Naruto's tone that unsettled them.
"Um… well, alright then," Kushina replied. "Just be careful, okay?"
Naruto nodded casually, not missing the subtle glances his younger siblings exchanged. He turned to face them, and suddenly, that familiar feeling returned in their guts—that deep, instinctive warning telling them to stay away. It was a silent alarm, screaming that they were completely out of their league when standing near him.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at the subtle fear flickering in their eyes.
They're still weak, and disappointment he thought. Even after all that training. Chakra levels have grown, sure—but not enough to matter. He shook his head slightly. Controlled, but not powerful.
Without another word, he walked into the Academy.

Now the scene shifted. Minato, the clan heads, and several council members were seated in an observation area, looking down at the gathered students. This class was composed mainly of clan heirs—children who had already received extensive training. Some civilian-born students were also present, though most had received only limited instruction.
Everyone was eager to see what the next generation had to offer.
The children were smiling, chatting excitedly about how they were about to showcase their skills. At the front of the arena, Iruka and Mizuki stepped forward.
"Alright," Iruka announced, "today we'll be testing your skills. We want to evaluate where each of you stands. If you know any jutsu, you're allowed to use them—but absolutely no lethal techniques, understood?"
All the students nodded.
With that, the preliminary tournament began.
Kushina, watching from above, felt a wave of worry wash over her. She leaned toward Minato.
"Minato," she whispered, "don't you think Naruto shouldn't be participating in this?"
Minato raised an eyebrow, sighed, and replied, "Kushina… at this point, we don't have a choice. The council proposed this, and I had to agree. Besides… maybe it's good for him. I just hope he doesn't take it too hard when he loses."
Kushina nodded silently, though a flicker of doubt remained.
At that moment, Jiraiya and Tsunade entered the room. Minato glanced at them, raising an eyebrow.
"Jiraiya-sensei? What are you doing here?"
Jiraiya smirked. "What, I'm not allowed to support my godchildren? I just came to watch them dominate the competition. After all, I'm the one who's been training them."
