Hey everyone,
When I first started this story, I was honestly super excited. I had so many ideas for what the MC would do in different dungeons, how the world would react to him, how the system would help him grow, all the family drama, revenge arcs… the works.
But I made a dumb mistake. I didn't write any of it down. I just assumed my chaotic brain would keep serving up new ideas like it always had. I never thought I'd run out.
Lately, though, I've been dealing with some really heavy stuff at home, like, genuinely bad and it's completely drained me. I'm mentally tired, angry, confused, and struggling to focus. Because of that, I've been having a hard time remembering what I originally imagined for the story, and new ideas just aren't coming as easily.😭😭😭
I can still write, and I want to, but I know I won't be able to put as much heart into it right now. And I don't want to give you guys something half-assed. This story means a lot to me, and I want to do it properly.
I wasn't sure if I should post something like this, but if even one of you is out there waiting for the next chapter, I felt like I owed you an explanation.🙃
The story isn't dropped, but updates will be very irregular for a while, Like a complete chapter or two a week. If you're still interested, just toss it in your library, and whenever you see a little blue dot pop up then that means I've cooked up a new chapter for you.
I just really appreciate everyone who's read this far. Seriously.
You can be assured that whenever I do post, the updates will be 5k+ words. I just can't promise how they'll be split, because my stat-obsessed brain will 100% try to chop them into neat little chapters just to admire the numbers.
Also, shoutout to Smikkel beer, man, every time I see you drop a "TFTC," it gives me a little burst of motivation. Every comment does, honestly. So thank you. Truly.
And to Alice_Chris_Noah, I haven't forgotten my promise to put your characters in the story. I will do it, but it might take a while. Same goes for the person who asked for the water-type template guy, sorry it's delayed, but it's still on the list.
This might all sound a bit too dramatic for a novel that's only a week old, but I got really invested in it, even if only for a short while. I still care about it, and I'll keep working on it, slowly but surely.
