Chapter 6 - Large hall : Shrine of Wisdom

At this moment, Alvin didn't know he was being treated as a god by the villagers. Even if he knew, he would not have cared.

Right now, he was sitting below a large waterfall, with water falling on his body with a heavy force from above the mountains. His axe was also stationed beside him, with its axe head inserted more than half into the rock like a knife stabbed into a piece of butter.

As the blood covering Alvin's body was washed away, his naked body, covered in several wounds and cracks like a broken porcelain doll, became clear.

Just by looking at him, one could imagine the pain he would feel with water falling from such a height on his body, but there was no expression whatsoever on Alvin's face.

His eyes had now returned to their previous purple color, and he appeared somewhat pitiful at this moment.

"Damn those bastards. If they hadn't run away, I would have skinned them alive," Alvin said with gritted teeth.

Only he knew the pain he had gone through while lying on that bed. Even now, he couldn't break free from the trauma it left in his mind.

It was fortunate that at some point, his mind became clear, and he somehow had endless energy and strength coursing through his body.

So, without hesitation, he destroyed anything that he found eyesore at that moment. He was not sure how he was able to fight so well , but somehow it all came naturally to him, as though he had done it before.

As Alvin was sitting under the waterfall, he suddenly felt a light buzz in his head, as though someone was urging him to close his eyes and look at something that only he was supposed to see.

Alvin involuntarily closed his eyes. The next moment, he saw himself standing inside a large hall with many empty shelves around him. There was also a large tree at the center of the hall, with many branches flourishing at its top.

There were also several milky white flowers with two petals on the tree branches, varying in size from just a centimeter to ten centimeters.

Along with this, a large amount of data also appeared in Alvin's mind.

This hall was called the 'Shrine of Wisdom'. As the name indicates, its purpose was to store knowledge. He could use souls to construct books that would store battle techniques or any kind of knowledge in them.

The milky white flowers he saw on the trees at the center were the souls of the animals he had killed at the laboratory. Since all of them were at the second realm of magic cultivation, their souls had two petals indicating their realm. The size of the flowers, on the other hand, indicated the strength of their soul.

"What the hell is this realm and all? Seriously, are you the one who brought me to this weird world," Alvin shouted at the large tree after receiving the new information in his head.

The next second, a thought was transmitted from the tree to Alvin's mind.

"So if I give you fifty soul flowers of the best quality, you will restore the memories of the previous owner,"

"Fine then, restore my memories," Alvin said after a while.

Suddenly, fifty of the ten-centimeter flowers from the tree vanished, leaving only eighty more flowers in total.

And along with this, Alvin felt as though he had the memories of another person in his head. It felt as though he had himself lived in this world as a mentally challenged boy called Alvin.

It turns out, this was a magical world called Celestia. From what he saw from his new memories, this world was pretty much similar to Earth. There were phones, cars, airplanes, TV channels, internet, etc.

But why Celestia is magical is because here, there is martial arts and magic like in fantasy stories. People who use mana to refine their bodies are called martial artists, and those who use the same mana to control different elements like wind and rain are called magicians.

In general, both these cultivations are divided into nine different realms and ten sub-levels for each of these realms. Land here is also divided into different tiers, starting from tier one to tier nine.

Its meaning is that the highest existence who could exist in a tier one forest or city is of the first realm only. If anyone above first realm enters the place, their cultivation will be suppressed to the peak of the first realm by the heavenly rules of Celestia.

Alvin's childhood was in a tier two city called the Heavenly Wood City. The city was not that famous because of the large group of magical beasts roaming in the surrounding forest all year round.

There is no memory of his parents. He only had a big sister who had looked after him from the day he could remember anything. She was fifteen years older than him, so in his eyes, she was more of a mother than a sister .

She was also the captain of a missionary group called the 'Eagles', so Alvin had a somewhat rich childhood under the pampering of his sister. But tragedy struck when his sister got injured during a beast tide.

Alvin, who was only eleven at that time, decided to go out and find some work to gather money to get his sister to a tier four city for treatment. But since the previous Alvin was mentally challenged, he easily fell into the trap of these scientists and willingly allowed them to seal his cultivation, believing this was also part of the work.

After that, for the last five years, he lived a very miserable life inside a cage while enduring inhuman torture every day. If not for his bloodline awakening in the middle of the experiment, which somehow broke the seal in his body, he would have either died or continued as their lab rat until the day he was of no value to them.....
