Lucifer looked enigmatic under the ethereal glow of the moonlight. He looked at the mutilated body in front of him, he was entirely amused that a mere six years old could do such. He was utterly impressed you could say.
Placing his hands on the corpse, red light started to form beneath his hand and the body started to look fresh. The injuries closed up, visceral back to there rightful place and scars disappeared. He took the guard back to the Royal villa.
Lucifer took the sleeping bodyguard to his housing facility, laying him down on his bed, he placed two of his fingers-the index and middle fingers on his forehead forming a white light and wiped his memory.

The little child felt a ray of sunshine flash directly on her eyes she wasn't able to sleep all night due to what happened the previous day until four in the morning.
"Wake up young Miss, you do not want to be late for your breakfast on this special day"
The girl recognized the voice, it was someone she knew and grew up with. Her eyes fluttered open and was immediately met with emerald green eyes belonging to that of her bodyguard.
She screamed and jumped back on the bed in shock clutching her chest.
"Yo..you....your here", She stuttered.
"My apologies for frightening you Miss, I shouldn't have been to close", the guard bowed deeply.
"How are you feeling", she asked unsurely.
"Pardon"
"Does he hurt", she asked while the guard together with the two maids present in the room looked at her weirdly.
At that moment she felt a presence in the room and looked over at the other side and saw Lucifers shadow on the curtains mouthing for to be queit.
She got the memo immediately and changed the subject.
"Oh silly me I must have been thinking am still in La La Land", she laughed awkwardly and smiled. The guard replied with a smile too.
"I will leave you get prepared", he said, bowed and left.
Maids dressed her up and left. Lucifer appeared after that in front of her.
"Thank you....thank you so much", she said, hugging him.
"You will need training to control your thirst, now that you have tasted blood your senses are awakening and with speed also, from my little observation your vampire side is too strong. We do not want you to go on a rampage do we now"
"You could first start with some manners", she mumbled quietly.
"What did you say", Lucifer asked flashing his fangs playfully.
"Nothing"
"I can't keep you up here any longer....they are waiting", he said and vanished.
~~~~~~~~
Her birthday felt awful from the fact her sister still gives her this frightful look whenever she sees her and then to top it off the bodyguard she had supposedly killed was hovering about behind her wherever she went making her sister look between her and him feeling confused and uncomfortable. She hated it and felt suffocated at her own birthday party.
Her parents had asked her what was wrong which she simply shooked her head at. It was a small family gathering with close friends and relatives and she didn't want to ruin that despite feeling so queasy throughout.
After her party the child went up to her room, happy to be away from her sister's wary eyes, she has been on edge ever since breakfast...scared that her sister might rat her out.
Plopping down her bed with her eyes to the ceiling she gave a long sigh and also another one when she felt that familiar presence again. The presence felt like a dark shift in the atmosphere.
"You aren't old but yet acts like one", Lucifer mused.
"Hey I've a lot going on okay", the girl whined folding her arms with a pout. She was now sitting upright to look at him.
"Your six"
"And I killed a man and now my sister is scared of me. I thought you would wipe her memory, why didn't you tell me you couldn't"
"About your sister's memory... It cannot be wiped"
"Why not"
"Your a royal, can't happen"
"Not fair", she said lying down back down.
"Come to think of it why do we isolate ourselves from the outside world, I know there are people outside the woods protective boundary. Why do we just stay here huh I really hate it here", she whined again.
"Why do want to know what's beyond the boundary"
"I just want to see all the different creatures they talk about in the books. Dad only took my brother's for hunting"
"I just want to see outside", she added with a small voice.
"Let's go then", Lucifer stretched forth his hand with a smile.
"Out, out"
"Why not I show you one that's closer to the boundary", he said making her jumb out of bed excitedly. Lucifer cursed a deep sleep on the bodyguard until when they come back.
On reaching the little village, the child noticed how quiet it was.
"Why is it so quiet", she asked.
"It's night time isn't it"
"Am awake ain't I, so why can't they be", Lucifer ruffled the child's hair, making her glar at him.
He was surprised by his actions and how the girl brought out his softness.
"I can't see the village clearly", she said, not waiting for a response she climbed up on a nearby tree. How she did that so fast she has no idea.
"What are you doing up there precious child"
"The village looks so beautiful from up here"
"Do you want to go in"
"Can I"
"Why not"
The little girl was even more amazed now as she looked around. She noticed some shops where closed already, some rounding up their sales for today, while others had there lights still shining brightly.
She admired the houses and shops around her the way their lights illuminated them. True she wasn't allowed to step out of the boundary, hell there was a spell put in place, but of course Lucifer could break through it. She never really understood why her grandfather placed such strict rules in place, outside looked safe to her.
She noticed one particular building illuminating red and green lights and written on the sign was 'PUB enjoy and dine'
"Can I go there", she asked hearing the voices inside.
"Not your age", Lucifer said steering her gaze from the direction.
Not seeing where she was going she bumped into a little boy who looked to be around her age. He had blonde hair with sage eyes which she got lost momentarily in.
"Hey watch it", the boy said snapping her out of her gaze.
"You were did one who bumped into me"
"I did no such thing"
"Yes you did", she argued back.
"I did not"
Both placed their hands on hips and glared at each other.
"I don't like him", she said turning to Lucifer.
Lucifer rolled his eyes at their behavior. The boy couldn't see Lucifer, no one could except from her, so anyone passing by would think she was crazy just like how the boy did.
Coughing Lucifer whispered to her "Is only you that can see me"
"Oh", she mouthed now understanding the look the boy gave her.
"Sooooooo", she drawled looking at the boy feeling awkward.
"Do you like croissant", the boy asked out of the blue.
"Huh"
"I asked if you like croissant"
"Why you asking me that"
"I dunno sharing is caring, plus you look like you need a friend"
"What!..I don't even know you"
"Then my name is Adrian..you can call me Adi"
"What's your name", he asked.
"Your weird"
"Huh...I never knew that could be a name"
"It's not am calling you.....
"Oh I know that", he said waving her off earning a glare from her.
"Come on my dad makes the best croissants"
"Didn't they teach you not to talk to strangers"
"You don't look like a stranger", he said and practically started to drag her to his house.
"This doesn't seem suspicious at all", Lucifer mused with a smile as he watched their cute interaction.
~~~~~~~~
"Who is this cute young lady", the boys mum asked.
"I met on the but she refused to tell me her name", he said with a pout.
His mother gasped at his words, "Don't tell me you dragged her into our house without her consent"
"He did", the little girl pointed out to which the boy casually shrugged.
"That's bad manners Adrian"
"But she's really cute", he whined pinching her cheeks.
"I am not"
His mother sighed and looked at husband who gave a subtly wink at their interactions.
"Where are your parents dear", the father asked.
"I would like to think that they are asleep now", she said earning a confused stare from them.
"Am totally fine", she said with a shrug.
"Do you like croissant", his mum asked.
"Never eaten it before"
"You would love it", Adrian gushed happilly and dragged her to the dinning where a tray full of freshly baked croissants sat at the center of the table with a jar of chocolate milk.
He happilly out some on a plate and gave her to taste.
"Do you like it", he asked after she took a bite, noticing how her eyes lit up he knew the answer before she nodded back at him.
"I love it"
"You could have as many as you want"

They both made a special bond after that day. After her training with Lucifer where he taught her about her origin for the first three days then moved to actual training which lasted for three hours....four to seven in the evening. This lasted for over a year.
After dinner, lucifer would take her back to the village where she would go and hang out with Adrian.
Adrian took her on a tour of the village the second night they met and now they go to places that they are allowed to.
One night his parents had asked him
"Do you like her"
"Nope she's a friend", he said as he hurriedly put on his shoes and ran outside to meet her.
His parents were obviously wary about the little girl, who wouldn't especially for the fact that she only came around in the night. They pushed the thoughts to the back of their mind seeing how she made him very happy.
Adrian hardly made friends since he was always busy helping out his parents in their little cafe. His parents didn't want to take that away.
Lucifer too had teasingly asked his precious child if she liked the boy.
"I do not like that boy", she said getting defensive.
"But he is fun and makes you happy"
"Anything can make me happy", she replied with a glare.
"Hmmm well I won't lie his making you to loose focus on training"
"What are you implying"
"That your mind is clouded by him", noticing the intensity of the child's glare he quickly added.
"Training can always be later of course you already master the basics of holding your thirst in". She smiled at that. She had been training exhaustively, her senses were really heightened for a youngling and she adapted fast too. Though her fighting skills still needed training on...she was fluid and graceful with her movement.
'She would make a great Queen...one day', Lucifer had thought.
"Also I won't be with you today"
"Why not", she asked.
"I have an important meeting with the council"
"Oooh.....sounds interesting, can I come"
"Not your age....now run along and go play", he said earning a playful pout from her.
"Fine..am a big girl, I don't need guidance", She said and heard her name being called out from a boy running down the steps of his front porch with his blonde mop of hair bouncing everywhere.
"Hi rea", Adrian breathed out now in front of her.
"Hi Adi", she with a huge smile as she stared at the energetic boy in front of her. Staring into his eyes made her heart skip a bit, it felt like her heart was about to explode, it rang like an annoying alarm in head and couldn't understand the feeling of it.
"Do you want to check out the new arcade I told you about yesterday", he said with a toothy smile making her heart to flutter again. She's always wondered why her heart pounded so loudly when he was around. Was it love?
Adrian took her hand as they walked to the arcade chatting animatedly.
"Urgh young love...so annoying", Lucifer said dramatically as he watched them skip and swing their hands happily.
"No offense mum...but where does the main event happen", Cherry asked.
"It's a flashback for a reason"
"Yeah...but it's taking forever", Mari whined too.
"Ahhh you girls are disrupting this beautiful love story", Marissa scolded.
"Sorry"
"Why do I feel like it's not going to end well", Mari said.
"Don't you want to find out", Marissa asked.
