Kael had to ignore his astonishment and focus on the work if he wanted to get it done quickly. There was much more to do to prepare the land for houses other than just clearing the trees and upper materials.
Rias glanced at him and asked, "Is there anything else you want to do here?"
"Check the underground," Kael said. "You cut the trees, so the roots underground will slowly rot and cause problems later on. We also need to make sure the soil is good and also need to see if the boulders are unstable underground."
He sighed, "There's so much to check, and there's also the problem of underground beasts. We will probably need to upturn the land here and properly build the city."
"Is that really necessary?" Rias tilted her head to the side and asked in confusion.
