Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Blood ties

Tiger's confusion lingered as he headed to meet Benjamin, who had somehow devoured all the food. Tiger approached him, grabbing his hand tightly before Benjamin could finish the last morsel. "Isn't that meant to be my lunch?" Tiger's grip tightened.

"Oh, sorry. I actually forgot," Benjamin stammered, trembling.

Tiger released Benjamin's hand and sat down across from him. "What happened? You look like life has shitted on you," Benjamin said, still munching on food.

"It's nothing. Just about to overthink. But know you owe me big time for this," Tiger said, standing up to leave. As he passed Benjamin, he hit him on the back of the head, making him cough and gasp for air. Everyone around them laughed.

"I guess this makes us even," Tiger said, chuckling as he walked away.

Tiger left the cafeteria and headed to the roof, seeking clarity. Upon opening the door, he saw a figure standing in the distance. "Who goes there?" he demanded.

Mr. Trent turned to face him. "I didn't think you'd beat up Jackson to that level."

Tiger waved dismissively. "Oh, I never thought I'd have to see your spooky face again."

Mr. Trent's expression turned cold. "And it seems you've forgotten about your revenge, you insolent brat?"

A familiar female voice spoke from the shadows. "Father, do you really think an idiot can help us do anything?"

Tiger's gaze locked onto Mr. Trent. "This child..." Mr. Trent began, as the female figure emerged from the shadows.

"Is your little sister," Mr. Trent finished.

Tiger's eyes widened as he recognized the girl who had tried to assassinate him in the bathroom.

Mr. Trent smiled. "Based on your expression, I'm sure you're surprised."

Tiger's laughter erupted, loud and uncontrollable. "Do you take me for a fool?" he said, his eyes cold. "Your joke is getting annoying. Leave or die here – the choice is yours."

Mr. Trent tossed a bunch of files at Tiger's feet. "If you don't believe me, read these and then come get me when you're ready to see reality."

As Mr. Trent and the girl walked away, she leaned in close to Tiger's ear. "Big brother," she whispered, smiling and skipping away.

Tiger's heart pounded as he stared at the files, his body frozen. "What exactly is going on?" he wondered, remembering the girl's attempt to kill him.

"How's Sasha my sister?" he thought, pulling his hair tightly as he fell to his knees.
