Obsessed with cheating true death, Gilgrim conducted a forbidden soul-fusion experiment intended to anchor his consciousness across multiple bodies. The ritual ultimately failed, resulting in his death—but not before binding two foreign souls into his network.
Though his original mind has perished, Gilgrim's vast mana reserves, magical imprint, and legacy continue to influence Kai Gray, who now occupies his body.

Lucian Noctis is the name Kai Gray has given to the third body bound to his soul after the failed necromantic experiment. Trapped on a lifeless moon or drifting planetoid in the void of space, this form displays vampiric traits—elongated fangs, claw-like nails, and the ability to survive without air, food, or water.
Though Kai rarely inhabits this body due to the psychological toll and overwhelming hunger it induces, Lucian Noctis is believed to be the most powerful and least understood of the three.

Ysaria was once a proud highborn elf before entering into a soul-binding contract with Elandor Gilgrim, swearing to serve him in exchange for necromantic knowledge and extended undeath. For twenty-four years, she remained loyally bound to Gilgrim, acting as his assistant, caretaker, and errand-runner—though her duties often fell short of the mentorship she was promised which caused her to betray him.
Now, with Kai Gray inhabiting her former master's body, Ysaria sees both a threat and an opportunity. Though outwardly loyal, she is cunning and opportunistic, already maneuvering to leverage Kai's ignorance in order to reclaim the ambitions denied to her.
While she possesses extensive knowledge of necromantic customs, mana theory, and social power structures within her formor masters Dominion, her true motives remain veiled beneath charm, wit, and a fake loyalty.

Alison was once an ordinary girl, spirited and defiant, before a violent incident took her life. Reanimated during a chaotic surge of mana, she returned not as a mindless corpse, but as a wight—retaining her personality, memories, and a flickering sense of humanity.
Though technically bound to Kai Gray through a necromantic ritual, Alison's loyalty is both magical and circumstantial.
Her undead form grants her strength and stamina far beyond that of her living self, and she no longer tires—but she hungers quickly. The nature of this hunger is still unknown, and its pull is growing. Alison follows Kai not out of devotion, but because he may hold the key to her salvation—or her complete unraveling.
