Although his words were quite flashy, even making one think he was about to summon Number C39: Utopia Ray the next second, Hayato ultimately Summoned XYZ-Dragon Cannon.
The combination of the "Red," "Yellow," and "Blue" Machine Monsters appearing together on the Field was much simpler than the complex transformation of VW. "First, I Activate XYZ-Dragon Cannon's Effect! By Discarding one Card from my Hand, I can Destroy any one Card on your Field. And just like VW, this Effect has no 'once per Turn' restriction."
Sending a Card from his Hand to the Graveyard, Hayato commanded, "Energy fill confirmed, XYZ-Dragon Cannon, lock onto the Spell/Trap Zone, full salvo!"
The missile pods on the treads opened, the cannon calibrated, and the dragon head opened to reveal the laser emitter. As the Discarded Hand Card was absorbed by XYZ-Dragon Cannon as the Stakes for activating its Effect, cannons, lasers, and missiles surged towards a Set Card in Anasis's Spell/Trap Zone.
"Not so fast! Before you Destroy my Card, I'll Activate another Card!" Anasis didn't lose his fighting spirit because Hayato had Summoned the powerful XYZ-Dragon Cannon. Instead, he became even more excited. "Skill Drain! By paying 1000 Life Points, all Monster Effects on the Field are negated!"

The missiles, lasers, and cannons were still flying through the air, but the closer they got to Skill Drain, which Anasis had activated first, the weaker their Power became. By the time the missiles reached Skill Drain, they had become duds, and the cannons and lasers had even Dispersed halfway.
The situation was momentarily awkward. Hayato had been thinking of quickly clearing Anasis's Spell/Trap Zone, especially since this rich guy might have Set a Card like The Sanctity of Silence. But he hadn't expected to be a step too slow. Moreover, Anasis was running the invincible Skill Drain, and he had even willingly locked his Life Points.
"Since the Monster Effects have been negated, I'll continue to upgrade my Monster." Considering there was still one Set Card face-down, Hayato glanced at the remaining Card in his Hand and decided to continue Summoning. "VW and XYZ, embrace glorious evolution!"
"Overlay, transform! King of combined war, ultimate mechanical Creation! Annihilate everything! VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon!"
The two combined Monsters that were on the Field simultaneously disassembled, returning to their original five Monster states, and in the next moment, they began to combine by breaking down all their parts.
The cannon barrels carried on X-Head Cannon's Body extended and shifted to the front, two arms extended, gripping the two halves of the disassembled Z-Metal Tank's Body to form massive arms; W-Wing Catapult disassembled and transformed, connecting with Y-Dragon Head's head to form the lower part of the Body; X-Head Cannon and Y-Dragon Head connected again, combining V-Tiger Jet as the head, and Y-Dragon Head's remaining wings connected to the back of the giant machine.
"Gathering the ultimate Power of five machines, Super! Bold! Stunning! Elegant! Great! Ultimate!"
The massive mechanical combination stood behind the excited Hayato, its Body even more majestic than the enormous Levia-Dragon - Daedalus!

"ATK, 3000!?!" This time, not only Bakura and Socrates, but even Anasis was stunned. "It's a Duel Monster on the level of Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
"VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon's Effect and Defense are both superior to Blue-Eyes White Dragon! It's the strongest Machine Type Monster! Hehe, haha, hehahahaha!" "I won't let you get away with that!" Clearly, Anasis was literally "shot down" by VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon's bizarre movement. "Open Set Card, Draining Shield! Turning setbacks and challenges into nourishment for oneself, that's a required course for adults!"
"VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon's Attack is negated, and then my Life Points will recover by its ATK value!"

"Tch, he recovered again." Hayato understood that he had missed the best chance to finish off Anasis, and it also meant that everything he had done before to reduce his Life Points was pointless. "Set one Card, I End Turn."
