Watching over the so-called 'donation' collectors brought a whole hell of a lot more trouble than any of us had thought.
The first wave of people who were forced to 'donate' didn't put up much of a fight.
Even roughing up a few of the usual slum punks during the routine train-stop inspections was just a simple boon. A small, satisfying perk of the job.
But as the long hours dragged by, the people started becoming more feisty, their compliance fraying like an old rope.
Numerous fights and ugly confrontations broke out, as some of the bolder punks tried snuffing the life out of those smug, condescending collectors on several different occasions.
Some even tried to get past our cordon by smashing through the train's reinforced windows, sprinting like hell towards any potential exits they could see, or trying to sneak past us and the DRCT security detail that was stationed there.
