[3P POV]
Theo had just exited the Realm of Oni and Dragon, his home or what it should have been; Theo used the Golden Power to traverse the Ethereal Divide and upon searching around he found his destination: A realm with no name (not at the time) and was surrounded in just Ocean effectively governed by a sea-draconic tyrant.
Upon arriving Theo is set upon a small mountaintop around the stormy ocean and as he looks a war unfolds "Keep pushing!" a young boy in a stray hat and a bo-staff said to the two species that gathered around him, a blue sea-serpent looking race, and a purple tribal seeming race "We have to pry that amulet off of their head" The boy issues but before anything happens the sea tyrant whacks her tail which brings a wave over its head and above the small army; the boy raises his arm as it was shimmering with Elemental Energy but before he can act a female blue sea-serpent stood her ground and spread her arms out which caused the wave to split in half altogether despite it's massive size which the sea tyrant seemed distressed by.
"Good work Nyad, and now…" The boy raised his hand as the powers of Fire, Lightning, Ice, and Earth gathered into his hands before enhancing it with his Golden Power and firing it at the massive sea tyrant which greatly damaged it; albeit not defeated.
"Stop" Nyad said to the boy "But I can still–" the boy is cut off by "No young Spinjitzu Master, your Elemental Powers are still developing and other than the four Elements of Creation, your two intrinsic side's powers and your limited control of the Golden Power as of now is not enough, though it may be strong enough to defeat this tyrant in the future, as of now there is only one way" Nyad said with sorrow in her voice.
The young Spinjitzu Master could only nod in the same hollow and sorrowful energy as the sea-serpent could speak "Take care of this realm for me when i'm gone" Nyad said with a final smile to the boy "Of course Master of Water" the boy responded with a smile of his own.
Elemental Energy soon surrounded the sea serpent as she entered the ocean itself before doing a spinning movement reappearing with a body full of water as she had just merged with the ocean itself.
Water would soon appear in the form of tentacles holding the sea tyrant down, though the massive tyrant resisted the boy jumped up and performed a peculiar spinning movement similar but different than the one Nyad had uses as this one manifested as an actual tornado, and a Golden one at that; the boy while utilizing the tornado launched itself at the sea tyrant with extreme force managing to push it back greatly.
Nyad takes her chance and manages to fully engulf the sea tyrant and take off two of it's amulets and send them to the boy. "And now, its time to end this" Nyad said before reaching out with her hands and releasing all the Elemental Energy she gathered and managed to finish off the sea serpent in one blow.
After the defeat of the sea serpent the endless storm finally cleared for the first time since the realm's creation with both sides being and feeling in awe for the sunlight that shone through the land; the boy smiled despite his sorrow and no tears had dropped, and while the battle was over the real conflict was not.
Theo watched from the sidelines and remembered the technique the boy had used: "Spinjitzu" and attempted it, which he had not only succeeded but mastered the technique instantly, Theo also watched as the boy would give both land dwellers, and the sea-people two amulets as to stop the sea-tyrants resurrection especially after their devastating loss.
Theo could only stare in sorrow at the sights as he felt bad for them he knew he could have gone back and personally changed the result, but he knew better than to play with the forces of time as there are some things that should not be changed.
[Many Years Later; 3P POV]
Theo is walking through the not-so advanced city of Ninjago as he watched a blacksmith use Chronosteel with the elemental power he artificially created against the Elemental Masters, then to Wu and Garmadon before falling to his own power, he heard the cries of the brief Empress of the Serpentine still imprisoned
He saw the Battle for all of Time Culminate with the Spnijitzu Brother's victorious, he beheld the plans of the Malevolent Evil Overlord from a distance, and he found the remains of the First Spinjitzu Master in his tomb, all while doing nothing to help either side as to him, everything was brief for Theo even what he might have considered a dream come true in his old life has twisted, warped, and wavered from what it once was out of pseudo-depression and his Oni Side forcing him to see much conflict in others and in himself.
It felt as if every step Theo took time warped forward, and though it was a pain at first, he finally found something about that made everything slow down to a normal perspective SOMEONE to love, someone to love like a brother until the very end and that alone was enough to make everything else in his past seem null as he knows that it is not just his brother who he will meet and care for, but soon many MANY more in the years to come.
