Daniel's Point of View:
I sat comfortably in the large chair at the center of the office. There was a big smile on my face after I had just spoken to Maria.
God! She's so innocent and so naive. She definitely bought the idea that I was actually a cleaner. Lying to her that I was assigned to only clean the CEO floor was a perfect alibi to be closer to Vance and continue my plans with him daily.
During my conversation with Maria, Vance's eyes stared at me nonstop to the extent he just couldn't look away. He wanted to live every moment, seeing me as a totally different person.
"Where is my boss, what have you done with him?" Vance asked rhetorically as he stared at me in amusement.
I pierced my gaze at him and laughed. "A man can't be happy anymore?" I asked him.
