Nadia was eating breakfast, which was: berries and water. Perfect breakfast for broke person. As she ate, she tried to use her magic and she even attacked... a tree. It didn't made this tree burn, which is good, but not good. Good, because she didn't burn a tree. Not good, because it means she's simply weak. Real magic is that she got rank D. This means she have much mana, but she cant use it. She just don't have talent.
She just tried to make the pure-mana-ball the biggest she could, as she thought of what she even did since she got to this world. She met two people... talked to like 5... and that's it. Then she got genius idea. In the horkigon, there have to be some library. If she'd go there... maybe, but just maybe there be some magic spells, she could possibly use. She decided to go there. Nadia got up from ground and went to horkigon. As she walked she thought about many things, like if there would be any magic skills and what other there will be. Maybe she'll even get to know history of this planet. She was curious in what gods this civilization belives.
She walked and walked, for like twenty minutes, then she stopped and looked around.
'Where in hell, am i?'
She tought. By this time she should be atleast in horkigon. But no, instead of horkigon, she was on some meadow.
Then small group of slimes appeared, 3. Those were freaking scary. They're skin was a gel, that was practically invisible. So you could see they're organs, which were even weirder. You couldn't tell which was which. Did they even had heart or lungs? But they had veins. She shoot one of those with a mana-shot (pure-mana-ball, but when you attack something), it scared her. She killed it, but the two other attacked her. One attached to her left forearm, and second attached to her right leg. It didn't hurt... at fist. After like 10 seconds of being attached to her they like they started digesting the places they were attached to. It hurt as if it got burn. But her skin wasn't burn, of course, it more like 'faded away' (idk how to say)? What she could do? She tried to take it off, but she couldn't. She tried and tried, but it didn't came off and pain only get worse. Then she just couldn't and shoot the slime on her forearm with mana-shot, killing it. She did same to the slime on her leg. After killing it she could take it off, good she thought about it, but... her forearm and leg bleed, atleast much. On places where the slimes attached to her, she didn't had skin.
She then went and sat under a tree, trying not to touch ground with part of her body that didn't had skin. It bleed really much, that the blood dripped off her leg. She didn't had any bandages or anything to stop bleeding. She could use her clothes, but they weren't the cleanest ones. She would have gotten sepsis, or some other blood virus, if she used them as bandages.
She was tired, she hasn't slept for like a day.
So she closed her eyes and nodded off.
