Cielo woke up groggy, he slowly blinked for a few seconds, simply staring up at the canopy of his bed. A slight movement from the corner of his eyes made him startle and shoot upright, only to relax at the sight of his sister.
"Why are you here so early, Luna?" He leaned back, closing his eyes.
Luna peered down at him like she hoped to decipher his thoughts by simply staring. "It's not so early. Queen Nadia invited us to lunch, and that is in less than an hour."
Cielo's eyes shot open, it was unlikely for him to sleep so late. He often retired to bed early, so he was up at dawn. He frowned as he tried to think of when he slept last night and realized that he couldn't remember anything after sitting on his table at the after-party.
Luna didn't offer any explanation, she hoped that Cielo wouldn't remember, because she didn't think her brother could survive the horror of what he had done last night.
