Their meeting started with a threat that left Heston frustrated. Though he tried to stay calm and attend to the esteemed visitors, it was clear that he was going to rain his usual pressuring insults on his daughter again.
When they settled in the lounge inside the Frost Villa, Kael brought out a diamond ring and gave it to Camilia.
"You should wear this. It's a thirty-million-dollar diamond ring... One of the few in the entire country. When anyone sees this, they'll know you are taken," Kael smiled.
"Not just taken. But taken by a real prominent figure. That pathetic Jayden boy would surely stay away," King Arthur said as he nodded.
Kael nodded in agreement as he furrowed his brows at Cammy, urging her to take the ring.
Camilia hesitated for a moment, seeing her father's striking gaze. For sure, she wouldn't have wanted to take it, but in the end, she did.
