— SHANAYA KAPOOR POV

I'm the quite one

who listens to others conservation

while thinking to myself

Why is to so hard to be one of them?

Why is it so goddamn hard to like the same thing as them?

Why I'm a piece of puzzle that doesn't fit?

they don't understand me and I don't understand them

So i just ask

What do i need to be just little less miserable

My heart aches as i open my mouth

the fear that comes to my mind

the voice that shouting

you're not enough

so I just stop and get to back where I was

because as you know

I'm the quiet one

So, My friends Life is hard

but at least, I've an honests, preety bestfriend

she always standed by my side

she Make me smile, when I want to cry

I'm truly grateful she's my friend

I stepped into a bustling high school hallway—lockers slamming, laughter echoing, the smell of old textbooks and fresh ink in the air.

I was on my way to submit class tests paper to Manisha mam, our political science teacher, instant of teaching us, she invest her more time in eating food!

Suddenly, My feet frozed at mid steps and I flinched a little hearing a loud voice almost a growl maybe from the corner of the corridor, I peeked a little actually, not that little.

There was a boy around 5'8 feet inch, his back was facing me and he wore a black leather jacket over his uniform, keep tapping his shoes against marbel floor, pressing his phone tightly against ear.

Did he forgot the rules, he can't wore any other jackets other than school blazare, and Why he talking so loudly! If anyone saw him like that, he definitely got a good holidays from school.

Wait....Why he's giving off prakriti vibes

mujhe kya!?....I should focus on my work let him yelling at poor phone

I turned my shoes towards staff room, which's few steps away, but again his loud voice reached my ear almost cleared

"DON'T YOU GET IT, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOUR MELODRAMA, YOU TOOK DIVORCE, SEPERATE FROM MY FATHER THEN BY ALL MEANS SEPARATE FROM ME TOO!"

As these words escaped from his mouth, my whole body trembled in rage

Is this how a son supposed to talk with his mother– even after divorce!

Ungrateful, truly Ungrateful did he don't know how much pain his mother endured to born him into this cruel world.

He let out a bitter chuckled escaped from his mouth "BETA SERIOUSLY!?Please give all your love to your daughter got it? ex wife of my father"

In one moment, I was trembling and In next moment my feet automatically Rushed toward him.

today, something was different. My usual composed demeanor had cracked, My stormy eyes blazed with frustration, As I continue to forwards steps towards him I felt like my whole personality changed and the only thing is remained– ANGER

he hanged up his call and Before he could register what was happening, I whirled him around—fast and furious.

SMACK!

Gasps rippled through the corridor. he stood frozen, his cheek stinging from the force of My palm.

"Don't you have manners to talk!" she snapped, her voice trembling with raw emotion.

He blinked, dazed

"W-what—?"

"Don't play innocent! I heard was you were—"I stopped, suddenly aware of the silence that had fallen over the hallway, of the way 'That angry boy' didn't even lifted a hand to defend himself.

I looked at him briefly, His uniform is a out of place—shirt untucked, tie loose, a black leather jacket over school tshirt. He smells faintly of cigarettes or cologne, something sharp and intoxicating.

eww, itna gunda kind of fashion sense hai!

something clicked in my mind he should have been angry. Should have demanded an explanation. But instead, he just stared at me, eyes wide—not with fury, but something far worse. Admiration.

My stomach twisted

Why wasn't he shouting back? Why did he looking at me like that?

Then, relazitation hit me harder than any slap!

opposite me is none other than 'VEDANT SINGH RAJPUT' the troublemaker of ROSEWOOD ELITE.

how could I forgot, Yesterday I bumped into him and he stared at me like a creep!

Gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd. No one had ever dared to lay a hand on Vedant Singh rajput.

bad boy blinked. Once. Twice. He lifted a hand to his cheek as if testing if what just happened was real. And then—he laughed. A slow, amused chuckle, like he couldn't quite believe it.

He licked his lips, tilting his head. "Well, well," he mused, voice low, unreadable. "I Didn't think you'll be that strong, Angel"

I lightly flinched at the nickname, heat rising to my face. I come here to teach him some lessons. But now, standing there, feeling the weight of his gaze, I suddenly felt small.

I tightly clutched paper in as all eyes on me.

"s-sorr-ry-y" I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper

I quickly turned back and take heavy step towards staffroom, I still felt eyes on me back specially from that angry boy.

Why him? In all of these people

I never raised My voice, I'm the girl who smiled at everyone, who whispered apologies even when I wasn't at fault. But now, My hand was still trembling, the sting of the slap still fresh on my palm.

I know one thing cleared

I'm in trouble

I placed test papers on vast table of staffroom, not without taking prakriti answer sheet and I walkout from the room, threw prakriti paper into the near dusbin on hallway.

you know, I'm loyal friend

I turned My head and to saw Ishika storming toward the discipline room, her face flushed with anger, hands clenched into fists. Concern gripped into my chest. Something was wrong—very wrong.

Without hesitation, I stepped forward, calling out, "Hey! What's going on?" But before I could reach her, my phone buzzed pierced through the silence

It's a message from dad

"WE'RE PLANNING TO TAKE DIVORCE SOON, PAPARAZZI WILL COME SO LOOK PRETTY UNDERSTOOD?!"

DIVORCE

The word echoed in my skull, foreign yet all too real.

I froze.

the weight of the words had crushed something inside me.

I barely felt my knees buckle as the world tilted around me.

My heart pounded violently against my ribs and chest tightened, I couldn't breathe. The world around me blurred,But before I could hit the ground, a pair of strong arms caught me.

The next moment, a sharp ringing filled my ears, and my vision swayed.

"Hey! Angel!" a deep, urgent voice called, but I was barely aware of it.

"Angel? Are you okay?" he asked, but his voice was muffled, like they were speaking through water

I opened my mouth, but no words came. Dark spots danced in my vision, my consciousness slipping away into silence.
