While Gregory prepared for the upcoming Christmas holiday with his family and friends, he had no idea the impact his interview with GMA was having on the world at large.

Sitting in his private office the founder and CEO of Oscorp Industries, Norman Osborn, had an irritated expression on his face.
As he watched a recording of Gregory Stark appearance and interview on Good Morning America.

'Arrogant little bastard' Norman thought.
Since although he acknowledged Gregory intellect that was about all he acknowledged about him.
Everything else about him Norman held a disdain for. Especially his background.
"You've lived the good life. Never truly having to struggle, to make your way in the world." Norman mused.
Getting slightly more irritated by the second.
"You boy have no idea what it truly takes to succeed in this world. And that is why you will fall sooner rather than later." Norman spoke.
His irritated expression turning into smug one.
*Ring Ring*
Shortly after which his office phone began ringing.
Pausing the recording Norman answered it. "I believe I said I did not want to be disturbed."
"Yes, and I apologize for doing so Mr. Osborn but I just received news that I was sure you would want to hear immediately." The person on the other end of the line spoke.
"Then spit it out already." Norman said.
"Yes. We just received information from one of our insiders that several of our defense contractors are thinking of jumping ship and switching over to Stark Global Solutions. Because apparently after this morning interview the company said they would soon be unveiling their first-ever military-grade weaponry and from the little information the company has passed on about it has many people intrigued."
Hearing this news Norman Osborn began grinding his teeth and clenching the phone. "I see." He spoke.
Then without saying another word he hung up.
After which Norman began phoning his contacts.
For he would not let this stand.
Not by a long shot.

[Roxxon Corporation]
Sitting in his personal office the current CEO of Roxxon, Phillip R. Roxxon was looking over papers on his desk.

Ones that describe a strange and powerful energy source his company had discovered at their Gulf drilling platform at Lake Bourne, Louisiana.
Seeing this Phillip knew immediately what he was going to do next.
Picking up his office phone he called one of his executives. "It's me. I want a research site established on the Gulf platform at Lake Bourne immediately."
"Yes sir." The executive replied.
With that Phillip ended the call.
After which he leaned back in his chair.
Grinning like a maniac.
Since soon Stark Global Solutions wouldn't be the only ones shaping the future of the world.

Walking through the wing of his companies research and development division the founder and CEO of Hammer Industries, Justin Hammer, didn't even try to hide the irritation on his face.

"Big words Stark. But soon you'll be eating them." Justin spoke.
A smirk appearing on his face.
Right as he dropped in front of rows of humanoid robots.

Wearing her usual silver-colored power suit the current CEO of Frost International, Emma Grace Frost, sat in her personal office.
A contemplatge expression on her face.

The reason being she had just finished watching Gregory Stark GMA appearance and interview.
"Intriguing. A confident man who isn't afraid to speak his mind. I wonder, would he open to a partnership between our companies?" Emma mused.
Already formulating a plan in her mind to get a meeting with Gregory Stark.

Sitting in one of the numerous lounges of the Baxter Building Reed wore a smile on his face.
Having just finished watching Gregory GMA appearance, and feeling inspired by it.
"Well Reed, you were right. Your friend Gregory certainly does have a way with words and a presence." One the people who had watched the interview with Reed spoke.
A genius in her own right that specialized in biological sciences, and was also employed at the Baxter Building.
Susan Storm.

"An egghead with style. Think you can introduce us Reed?" Johnathan Storm, Susan younger brother, asked.

"I have no idea why all of you are getting so enamored simply by one interview. One that honestly was nothing special at all." Another resident genius of the Baxter Building, from the small eastern European nation of Latveria, Victor Von Doom, spoke haughtily.

"Yeah, sure, whatever you say Vic." Johnny said.
Earning him a glare from Victor. "And what exactly is that supposed to mean Johnathan?" He asked.
"That you might be a little jealous." Johnny mused.
"Preposterous. What would I have to be jealous of from a man I have never interacted with?" Victor asked.
"Oh, I don't know. He's rich, handsome, smart like you and all the other egghead's here are the Baxter Building. But unlike you he's already got his own company, is a millionaire, and is actively changing the world." Johnny spoke.
"I do the same and you would do well to remember that Jonathan!" Victor exclaimed.
"Alright Victor. Calm down." Susan said. Gently placing a hand on his shoulder in an intimate way.
Since the two of them were currently dating.
"Also stop antagonizing him Johnny."
"But it's so fun and easy to do Sue." Johnny retorted.
Only to earn himself glares from both Susan and Victor.
As this happened Reed mind was entirely elsewhere.
Namely focused on a project he had been working on since he was a young child.
Teleportation.
Specifically interdimensional teleportation.
A project he had been hoping to bring to fruition ever since he joined the Baxter Building a few years ago.
However he had had no such luck.
But now after watching Gregory GMA interview this morning, and seeing all his friend had achieved, Reed decided he needed to push harder to get what he wanted.
So with that he resolved himself to make his teleportation device a reality.
Having no idea just how Fantastic the results of it would be.
