After Livia left his room, Logan leaned back, staring at the ceiling.
'I should head back to headquarters for now,' he thought, calculating. 'I'm suspended from using the university's facilities, and with the Alvarez conflict on the horizon, there's no reason to stay here.'
Glancing at his hologram, Logan decided to call Edric right away.
''Edric,'' Logan said with a smile as the call connected.
''Is everything alright, Logan?'' Edric asked immediately, a worried expression on his face.
Logan chuckled, shaking his head. ''There's nothing wrong with me… but I do need your help.''
''Whatever you want,'' he answered right away, giving a nod with a firm expression.
''I need you to come pick me up,'' Logan said, smiling. ''There's no point in staying here.''
Edric understood immediately, giving a firm nod. ''I'll be there in a few hours.''
''Thank you,'' Logan said gratefully, disconnecting the call.
