Author's POV
Isha stormed out of Shivansh's cabin, her heart pounding with frustration and anger. She had endured enough of his arrogance for one day, and the cold, emotionless tone he used to dismiss her felt like the final straw. "I need air," she muttered under her breath, walking briskly toward the exit of the office building.
As she reached the main doors, she noticed a group of reporters and media personnel gathered outside. Before she could comprehend what was happening, a barrage of camera flashes blinded her, and dozens of microphones were shoved toward her face.
"Miss Isha! Are you dating Mr. Raghuvanshi?"
"Is this why you were spotted in his office today?"
"How long have you been seeing him?"
"Is your family aware of your relationship with the King of Jaipur?"
"Are the wedding bells ringing soon?"
"Miss Isha, is this a love story that started in secret?"
"Are you moving to Jaipur after marriage?"
Isha's eyes widened in shock. Her throat felt dry, and she stepped back, trying to escape the invasive questioning. "I... I don't know what you're talking about," she stammered, raising her hand to block the cameras.
"Miss Isha, are you and the King of Jaipur in love?"
"Why hasn't the palace issued a statement yet?"
"Were you seen with him during his recent visit to Delhi?"
But the media didn't stop.
"Is it true that Mr. Raghuvanshi is grooming you to be the next queen?"
"Why hasn't this relationship been made public yet? Are you hiding something?"
"Did Shivansh's family approve of this relationship?"
"Is this love or a political alliance?"
"I said I don't know what you're talking about!" Isha exclaimed, her voice breaking with frustration. She turned to leave, but the crowd of reporters swarmed her from all sides.
Inside the building, Shivansh stood near the large glass windows of his office, observing the chaos below with a dark, unreadable expression. His younger cousin and best friend, stood beside him, frowning.
"They've spotted her," Dhruv said, his voice low but urgent.
Shivansh didn't reply immediately, his jaw tightening. After a moment, he turned to them, who had just joined them. "We're going down," he said, his tone commanding.
Without another word, the three men-Shivansh, Aviyansh, and Dhruv-strode out of the office and made their way to the building's entrance. Their presence was intimidating, their movements decisive, and their expressions stern.
As they pushed through the glass doors, the media's attention shifted. The reporters momentarily fell silent as Shivansh emerged, his cold, regal aura immediately commanding respect. Dhruv and Ayivansh flanked him, their eyes scanning the crowd like hawks.
"Step back!" Dhruv's voice rang out, authoritative and unyielding. "This is an invasion of privacy. Move away from Miss Isha now."
"Mr Raghuvanshi! Is Isha your girlfriend?" one reporter dared to ask.
"Will you confirm your relationship today?"
"Is she being considered for the role of queen?"
" Mr. Raghuvanshi! Is she your girlfriend?"
"Are you confirming your relationship with Isha today?"
"Why is she leaving your office? Is this an official visit or a personal one?"
"Is this the woman you plan to marry?"
Dhruv, raised his hand to silence them. "This is not the time or place for such questions. Miss Isha is not obligated to answer, and neither is Shivansh."
" Why are you both hiding your relationship?"
" What? No!" Isha says, stepping back, but it's too late. Shivansh is at her side, shielding her from the cameras.
Shivansh's sharp glare cut through the noise, silencing them. Without a word, he moved directly to Isha, who stood frozen in the center of the chaos. Her face was pale, her eyes wide with panic.
"Come with me," he said quietly but firmly, placing a protective hand on her back.
"I-what's happening?" she stammered, her voice trembling.
" Miss Isha, don't you think the public has a right to know about your relationship with the king?"
"Why were you at his company today?"
"Is this a secret romance?"
"Enough!" Ayivansh, a tall and imposing figure, raised his hand. "You are all crossing boundaries. This is none of your business."
"But we deserve to know!" one reporter insisted.
"No, you don't," Dhruv snapped. "Miss Isha is not obligated to answer any of your questions. This invasion of her privacy will not be tolerated. Step back!"
Ignoring the reporters, Shivansh reached Isha, who stood frozen in disbelief. Without a word, he placed a protective hand on her back and guided her toward the car. His brother followed, shielding her from the relentless cameras.
" Mr. Raghuvanshi! Are you protecting her because she's your girlfriend?"
"Will you make an official statement soon?"
"Is this your way of confirming the rumors?"
"Get in," Shivansh ordered Isha curtly as they reached the car.
Too stunned to argue, she obeyed, slipping into the luxurious vehicle. Shivansh followed, slamming the door shut behind him. His brother remained outside, dealing with the media.
As the car sped away, Isha finally found her voice. "What the hell was that?!" she snapped, turning to Shivansh with fire in her eyes.
He leaned back in his seat, his expression calm but cold. "The media being the media."
He glanced at her, his expression unreadable. "The media doing what it does best-creating chaos."
"And you! Why are they asking questions about me and you? Why did you even come out there? I was handling it!"
"Handling it?" Shivansh scoffed, his tone laced with sarcasm. "You looked like you were about to collapse."
"I didn't need your royal intervention!" she shot back, crossing her arms.
"I wasn't about to let them tear you apart with their ridiculous questions," he replied coldly, looking out the window. "And believe me, if I didn't step in, they would've kept going for hours."
Isha let out a frustrated groan, running her hands through her hair. "This is insane! Why do they even think I'm involved with you? Just because I left your office? Do they have nothing better to do?"
Shivansh's lips twitched, almost as if he wanted to smirk. "Welcome to my world."
"Well, your world sucks," she muttered.
" I wasn't going to let them humiliate you or drag my name through the mud," Shivansh said, his tone sharp.
"I don't care about your name!" Isha yelled. "I care about the fact that my life just turned into a circus because of you! I never asked for this, Shivansh. I never asked to be thrown into your royal mess."
For the first time, his gaze softened slightly, though his voice remained calm. "You didn't. And that's exactly why I stepped in. To control the damage."
"Damage?" she repeated, her voice dripping with disbelief. "You think this is just damage control? My privacy, my sanity-none of it matters to you, does it? All you care about is how this affects your precious reputation!"
He didn't respond immediately, his jaw tightening. "This will blow over," he said eventually. "You'll be fine. And i am protecting you. "
"Fine?" she laughed bitterly. "Oh, sure. My face plastered all over the news. Strangers speculating about my life. My friends and family probably seeing this right now. Yeah, Shivansh, I'll be fine. And Protecting me?" she repeated, incredulous. "Do you even hear yourself? You've just dragged me into a circus I never wanted to be part of!"
"I didn't drag you into anything," he said sharply. "But now that you're in it, I won't let them tear you apart."
She stared at him, her anger simmering just beneath the surface. "You don't get to decide that for me, Shivansh. I don't need your protection. What I need is for you and your royal mess to stay far, far away from me."
He didn't respond immediately, his jaw tightening as he looked out the window. "You'll thank me later," he said quietly.
"Don't count on it," she muttered, crossing her arms and staring out her own window.
The tension in the car was palpable as they fell into silence. Isha stared out the window, her arms crossed, while Shivansh sat rigidly beside her, his expression unreadable.
Finally, she muttered under her breath, "I can't believe I ever stepped foot in your stupid office."
He glanced at her sideways but said nothing, knowing better than to argue with her in that moment.

Isha trudged upstairs, the weight of the situation pressing down on her. She slammed the door behind her, startling Prisha and Ishika, who were sprawled on her bed, scrolling through their phones.
"What's with the dramatics?" Prisha asked, sitting up.
She slammed the door shut behind her, the sound reverberating through the room like the echo of her frustration. Her chest heaved, her hands trembling as she stormed across the room. Prisha and Ishika trailed behind, silent, exchanging hesitant glances. She knew they wanted to say something, to calm her down, but she wasn't ready to hear it. Not yet.
"What the hell was that?!" she shouted, spinning on her heel to face them. "How dare they-how dare he!" her voice cracked as her emotions bubbled over, a chaotic mix of anger, hurt, and betrayal.
The room was suffocating, too small to contain the storm brewing inside her. Her eyes burned with unshed tears, but she refused to let them fall. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction-not Shivansh, not anyone.
Prisha sat on the edge of the bed, her hands folded neatly in her lap, watching me with a mix of concern and caution. Ishika leaned against the doorframe, her arms crossed, lips pressed into a thin line.
"Isha," Prisha began softly, her voice a fragile thread. "Maybe you should just-"
"Don't tell me to calm down!" she snapped, cutting her off. Her voice was louder than she intended, and she immediately regretted it. But she couldn't stop herself. "I'm so sick of everyone telling me to calm down, to act like everything's fine when it's not!"
She turned away from them, pacing to the window. The view of the garden below, usually so serene, only made her angrier. The memory of Shivansh's cold, dismissive tone and the media spotted her replayed in her mind. The fight had been ugly, and I was left questioning everything-about them, about myself.
"This is not what I wanted," she muttered, more to herself than anyone else. Her fingers gripped the windowsill tightly, knuckles white. "None of this is what I wanted."
Prisha rose and took a tentative step toward me. "Isha, we're here for you. Whatever happened, we'll figure it out together. But maybe-maybe shouting isn't going to help right now?"
She turned to her, her glare softening slightly. "It's the only thing keeping me sane right now, Prisha." her voice was quieter, tinged with exhaustion.
Ishika finally spoke, her tone sharp but not unkind. "If you want to scream, scream. But once you're done, you need to decide what's next. You can't stay stuck in this."
Her words hit me like a cold splash of water. Her frustration wavered, giving way to the weight of what had happened. She sank onto the bed, burying her face in her hands. The silence in the room was deafening.
For the first time since the fight, she allowed herself to feel something other than anger-confusion, hurt, and the crushing pressure of having to figure out what to do next.

Morning in Maheshwari house
Everyone was having breakfast silently, while isha drowned in deep thoughts, there was pindrop silence. She could sense that people around her were really in trouble, after thinking a lot she decided to break the silence.
" Papa, I think I'm ready for marriage She said making everyone shocked.
"But beta you don't need to do this against your will. We'll talk to Rajmata and eventually everything will be fine" Said her dad as he knew she was saying this because of the relation between both families.
" Yes bacche we'll talk to them you don't have to do this and we are sorry for our behaviour before but you don't need to do this" Said her mother.
" But it's fine I want this wedding " Said isha while whining.
" Oh really what happened between morning and evening that now you want this wedding desperately, we know you're forcing yourself because of us and don't do that we'll find a way" Said arjun .
" Nothing happened, it's just I thought about my decision and eventually I don't have any boyfriend nor do I have any plans to make one, and I think everyone loves me in that family, so it's not a bad idea" said Isha.
"And what about Shivansh, what if he never accepts you?" Asked Ishika.
" Then why did he agree to marry and at least his family likes me, which is far better than marrying a stranger in which I've to make efforts with his family too, so it's a pretty win win situation " Said isha in an irritation tone.
" But....
" Ohk enough now if she is agreeing then why do you guys have a problem with this? Are you guys so desperate to ruin our relationship with royals, today again my daughter proved she is way more mature than all of you" Said devika isha's mother while cutting off vikram in between.
" Okhh bye guyss, i am going. " Isha said and left for her office.
As she heads to the gate, she thinks to herself: Maybe I should give this a chance. Who knows? Maybe it won't be as bad as I think.
But deep down, she knows she's made this decision out of obligation, not love.
