As the fight with the axons ended i sighed with relief...my hands were trembling even though i had done nothing except throwing rocks.I climbed down the tree and rushed towards that kid who was bleeding.He had a nasty claw mark on his thighs and he was barely able to hold himself up."How are you even standing dude..just sit down..we need to stop that bleeding" i said as i helped him sit down.
I rushed back to the lake and brought some water in a big leaf to clean up his wound as i poured the water to clean his wound he looked at me confused and said "Why are you helping me?"....
I looked at him and replied "Do i need a reason to help you? I cant just let you die now can i? Also you did help me out earlier so we are even."
After hearing my words he just smirked at me.I then tore up a piece of my shirt to tie around his wound since his clothes looked really expensive to do that.Then i spoke "My name is asher...mind telling me yours?"
"Kael" he muttered.I smiled "Nice to meet ya kael, by the way you looked pretty cool back then, where did you learn those sword skills of yours?"
He stayed silent for a moment then replied "My master taught me.Although he is..." uh uh looks like we wandered off to a sensitive topic so i quickly tried to change it "Great I wish I had skills like yours...then perhaps my dream of achieving the treasure of Hades wouldn't look so impossible "
"Treasure of hades?" He asked...
"yeah" i replied. "The most legendary treasure ...the one which can give the attainer huge amount of power,fame and wealth...but everyone says its a myth" I elaborated .
He paused for a while and then said "I heard my master talk about it once...he had once read about it in ancient scriptures .It is a treasure that is being guarded by fearsome creatures, that no one knows about and the treasure of hades is most likely hidden in the deepest parts of the underworld "
I was shocked ti hear that "The underworld?You mean i have to go to hell to obtain it?" I asked....
"yeah probably" he replied..."What a coincidence...i am out to find a way to the underworld too" he said .
"Whaat?? You wish to go to the underworld? Do you seek the treasure too?" I asked
"No. I have a different purpose " he replied.
I chuckled "How ironic isnt it that we both now seek to go to hell"
For the first time ever i saw him smile and it made me happy.
