Henry sighed in his heart and started eating
It has only been a few days and Adrian was back...when he got home,it was in the afternoon,he wanted to surprise Cassie but she...she was sleeping
His facial expression twitched seeing her sleeping form before he sighed helplessly,he walks to the bed,takes off his suit and shoe before laying Infront of her on the the bed,he looks at her closed eyes before wrapping a hand around her waist,he places a kiss on her forehead before closing his eyes
Nian Nia was in one of the bedrooms,she was busy typing in her laptop when her phone rang,she looked like she was about to blow upzshe picked the phone and was about to cut the call when she saw it was Kenzie
Nian Nia couldn't help recalling when Marco had given Kenzie her number to plead for him but what she got wasn't a pleading but Kenzie rubbing the fact that Marco paid less attention to her
She sighed and picked the call, turning on call recorder "hello?"
"Nian Nian,ah, it's Kenzie"
"I know"
"You do?...well,I heard you left Marco because of what happened"
"Why are you calling?"
"No reason really, it's just,I tried sending you a message but I saw I was blocked"
"That's because you keep sending me pictures"
"Isn't pictures of Marco? Is it because I'm in the picture and you're not...it just shows the place I hold in his heart,that reminds me,when was the last time he ever took you out... right, never"
"Maybe that's because you'd always call when we make plans,now that I've left him,you must be really happy"
Kenzie laughs"yeah,I'm happy...you see,trash don't deserve gold and so it's good you learnt early...just because you and the P family are close to the extent of you being their adopted daughter doesn't make you suitable for my Marco"
"So you're suitable for him?"
"Of course,why else will he give me attention"
"Don't confuse pity for love" Nian Nian cuts the call...back then Kenzie would always say more worst curses when they spoke but since Nian Nian has left Marco, Kenzie was happy and toned down
Nian Nian had wanted to go back to her place but when she left Cassie a few days ago, Marco came to her house to find her non stop,so she had to come back here
She stretched and went out to eat lunch

When Cassie woke up,it was already 5 in the evening,she opened her eyes which locked unto Adrian's sparkling blue ones...they held wye contact for a while as Cassie hasn't processed what was going on "eh,when did you come?" Her voice was hoarse but her tone was calm
"In the afternoon" he sat up and added "are you hungry?"
"No,not yet,I want to take a shower" Cassie got up and was already out of bed
Adrian eyes were on her
Cassie looks at him as she was about to open the bathroom door,she opened her mouth to say something but Adrian spoke first "I'll take you out tomorrow when I get back from work"
Cassie was quiet,she blinked, Adrian got up and walked over to her,he placed a kiss on top of her head before leaving the room
Cassie touched the top of her head and smiled but then frove 'is my expression becoming more bold this days?' she shook her head to the thought before entering the bathroom
Adrian who had just stepped out of the room saw a girl who was also coming towards the room,when Nian Nian saw him,she bowed respectfully even if she was shocked"uh, Mr Adrian"
