Right now Adrian looked like an innocent child pleading for something, Cassie flicked his fore head with her fingers,he rubs his forehead slightly
"I'm not gonna be your girlfriend" if watching Gotham fall was a big deal then see how Adrian world crumbled in a blink of an eye
And just like Adrian feeling,rain started to put outside,it had been bright and sunny but now the rain was falling, outside became gloomy and the sun was gone
Cassie was now sitting in the living room,she was going through channels out of boredom
It had been an hour since she coldly rejected Adrian,she hadn't seen him since and didn't mind
Cassie didn't mind, on the other hand Adrian was in the kitchen,he seems to be cutting a watermelon,his sadness was written allover his face,he placed the sliced watermelon into a place, adding the back of the watermelon
He drops it on the table Infront of Cassie,he took the plate and started eating while still going through the channels,she stops at a Rom comedy, setting down the remote while eating the watermelon
Adrian sat beside her but kept his distance while Cassie watched the movie in silence,she didn't laugh for any scene in the movie and just after the watermelon, including the back. It was still remaining,she dropped it on the table and then glanced at Adrian
His gloomy wasn't something she didn't notice"if you want to sulk then go to your room" Cassie coldness was way too much, Adrian just sighed and got up ,he stood for a while,he wanted to go up but changed his mind and sat down
Cassie raised her brow at him but didn't say anything
Meanwhile Lisa was standing outside the rain and leaning against her car,she had parked at one corner of the road,her phone inside the car kept buzzing but she was outside crying with the clouds
Soon it was dark,Lisa went back into her car,her leg was sick and her body shivering,she saw her phone was still ringing and the caller was Nian Nian, immediately she picked up, Nian Nian voice came through"sis where are you,your parents have been trying to call you but you didn't pick, didn't you say you were going to the company,no one saw you there"
Lisa bites down on her lower lip and spoke,her voice shaking"I'll head home now"she didn't wait for Nian Nian to speak before hanging up
She took a deep breath before starting her car
The drive home was quiet for her and she didn't like it.When she reached home, everyone fussed over her but Lisa wasn't in the mood,she knew her getting a fever was a high possibility
Cassie had gone to bed but didn't sleep yet,she had went online and still saw the news of her being Adrian girlfriend,she thought he would have taken it down but he didn't,she took a shower and dressed in a dark purple pajama
She went to the room opposite hers and knocked on the door,after a few seconds Adrian opened the door
He looks down at Cassie,he was surprised she came to find him but also happy
"Why haven't you taken the news down?"
Cassie arms was crossed,her face was cold but her aura wasn't bad,she wasn't really that angry
Adrian instead on answering goes on his knees and hugs Cassie leg"please be my girlfriend or I won't let you go"
No matter how much Cassie struggled or threatened to punch him,he remained unfazed because he knew that each time Cassie wanted to hit him,she always doesn't
And that was right,Cassie didn't want to hit him no matter how annoying he was
