Ember chuckled, in a bid to break the ice in the room. Particularly because the conversation made her a tad bit uncomfortable.
"Brought him to ruin?" She repeated, taking her seat by Aunt Nyra's side, "you think too much of it, Aunt Nyra. I and the Seventh High Lord were merely having a… discussion. The painting was rather captured in an unfavorable light."
Aunt Nyra rolled her eyes playfully. "You can lie to the rest of the world Elara, but not to me. I know a real painting when I see one. I happen to have a rather fine taste for the finer arts…." She finished with a smirk that had Ember blushing on her behalf.
