Adrian Morgrave led Ember to two streets down the Public Art Square, right in front of a luxurious building whose name tag stood out to her;
'Madam Tempest Blood Bank.'
"A blood bank?" She muttered more to Adrian than to herself. "You're taking me to a blood bank?" She finished, quite aghast at the thought of stepping into a place that exclusively viewed humans as one thing; food.
Adrian turned to her, a smile tugging the corners of his lips. "The High Lord awaits you inside," he answered, "surely your royal highness does not think I am taking you here to serve as food."
For someone who claims to be a servant of the BlueBloods, Adrian Morgrave sure was far way too cocky.
Ember scoffed. "Even if you were taking me here to serve as food, I would only take it that you're no longer interested in keeping your head attacked to your body m." She finished through narrowed eyes, tugging down the shawl that covered the lower half of her face.
