Rui leaned forward, desperation edging her voice.
"What is it? Whatever it takes to save them, I'll do it."
Mr. Moon traced a circle in the air, light following his fingertip to create a perfect yin-yang symbol that hovered between them.
"Harmony," he said simply. "Not binding, but balance."
The symbol rotated slowly, black and white swirling in perfect equilibrium.
"Your chaos core dominates your being," Mr. Moon explained, gesturing to the black portion, which suddenly expanded, overwhelming the white.
"It's grown powerful through your trials and emotions. Meanwhile, your celestial core—" he pointed to the diminished white section "—remains dormant, suppressed by your upbringing in the Underworld."
Rui stared at the unbalanced symbol.
"So I need to strengthen my celestial core?"
"And temper your chaos core," Mr. Moon nodded.
Mr. Moon's fingers traced another pattern in the air, creating a bridge between the black and white halves of the symbol.
