An hour after Eze enters the gate...
On the highway going to the north, a large military grade UV the length of a bus zoomed along, only making a slight whistling sound. Its design was silky smooth, with a few guns at the roofs front and rear. Its face had two large claw devices made for an obstacle removal, and a large grader plate for snowy regions.
Inside, Mikaela was sitting on a chair in the midst of a table. Tarkov was the one driving, whilst three other figures sat opposite her.
The first was Li Mei, now dressed in her battlesuit and daggers, her mask still covering her nose down. The other two were a blonde handsome man, blue eyes and a devilish grin, just a head taller than the Li family princess. He had a spear attached to a body holster he wore over a battlesuit. On his arm was a blue gauntlet that channeled Quather back and forth his body.
The other was a lady, tall, built and had a stoic look in her face. She had long Raven black hair, a lean face and a scar than ran her left chin up to her left eye and crossing her nose. She wore a suit of black and gold heavy armour, a black helmet with a golden plume and a large tower shield almost as tall as her.
"Baldur, Freya ... Your job is simple" Mikaela starts off, tapping on the table. A holographic map appeared out from the table.
"Today is OP- Hela's inauguration day. I want you two to show her the ropes on how we operate as a team. Be nice"
Baldur turned to Li Mei, now called Hela and greeted her jovially, a smile on his lips that could make ladies fall and swoon.
"Hello, the names Bryant O'Neill, or Baldur if you will." He winked, exuding a calming aura. Li Mei couldn't help be attracted to this calming aura, perplexed that a man could make her feel this, 'Comfortable'.
Suddenly, another aura suppressed the room, an aura that called for the attention of others towards it. It came from the armoured woman, Freya. Baldur squinted his brow, slightly annoyed about how his aura was forcefully dissipated.
"Don't mind B, he always thinks he's the centre of attention everywhere he goes" she spoke coldly, not even bothering to look away from the map on the table
"Way to kill the mood, muscle brain" he made a snide remark in reply.
"Oh, you want to see what this muscle brain can do to you?"
"BRING IT!" Baldur replied with a challenging tone.
Li Mei felt shocked. The aura these people, who seemed to be at C-Class lower grade felt higher than most C-Class she'd met. Sometimes it's good to go out and meet other people.
Suddenly, a larger and more suppressive aura filled the room, an aura that suppressed everything in its path. It felt like destruction was to fall upon them, scaring even Li Mei.
'This tyrannical aura.. who?'
She traced the aura and found out, it was from the driver's seat.
"QUIET!!! you two better behave, your distracting me!" Mikaela, taking advantage of Tarkovs burst of Quather to quiet the two quarreling Ascendants. She then looked at Li Mei with a tired look and sighed.
"Don't mind these two. This job also involves their cooperation as well. They joined us about four months ago and they're still on each other's necks" . Her voice sounded pitiful, rubbing her eye patch.
"Anyway... The mission is simple. These two know the ropes of hunting inside a gate, and also how our tactics work, they'll be your guide as your seniors. Listen to them, most of the time" she stood up and looked at them, a serious look from her right eye, causing Baldur to shiver and Freyr to look away.
"We've gotten news that the time displacement is about 1 minute to an hour, so I want you in and out in about a hundred and twenty minutes, around five days in there... Any questions?"
No one spoke, until Li Mei raised her hand...
"Excuse me ma'am, but, what does my code name signify?"
"Oh, seems I didn't tell you. We at ASGARD use Norse Mythical gods as ways to identify ourselves based on our abilities and talents... Due to your abilities that encompass shadow and stealth, we concluded that Hela suited you nicely"
"As you can see, Mr hotshot got his title from not only his looks, but also his ability to not being able to be targeted. Don't mind weapon, he's your healer" Mikaela answered, pointing at Baldur, who grinned with pride.
"Freya over here is your tank. And don't be fooled by her get up, her powers deal in the aspect of light Quather and the ability to be the centre of attention, making her a walking taunt machine"
Li Mei looked at the lady, who seemed to be calm, but she could see her slightly shake in delight.
"The guy on the wheel, my husband Tarkov, is Thor... You already can guess why"
Li Mei was taken aback. She had thought Tarkov was her security guard or assistant. Who knew they were actually married. From the Aura he released a few seconds ago, he was definitely in the Peak of A-Class, maybe even an S-class low grade. Then her gaze turned to Mikaela, who replied her before she could speak.
"And me, you can guess!" She answered Li Mei's unanswered question, pointing to her eye patch. Li Mei nodded in understanding and sat on a bench at the edge of the vehicle.
Baldur sat next to her, whilst Freya sat directly opposite her, not saying a word.
"So, what brings the princess all the way from you east. I hear you guys have quelled about two Originators... Doesn't that make your job their easier"
Li Mei didn't reply, not even looking at Baldur. She took a pair of airpods and place them in her ear, listening to music. In a sense, telling Baldur not to disturb her.
Freya snickered under her breath at Baldur's failed advances. Baldur became slightly exasperated, wondering what he'd done wrong.
Just then, Tarkovs voice came from the front of the vehicle...
"We've arrived, prepare to deploy."
Li Mei and Baldur nodded, grabbing a bracelet each from the walls of the UV. These bracelets were trackers and at the same time, SpaceTech storage devices filled with supply's.
Freya grabbed a sword hanging on the wall, she sheathed it in a scabbard on her tower shield, and then grabbed a bracelet.
The door at the side opened, revealing a crowd of Ascendants, both free lancers and corp teams all entering or preparing to enter.
As they came down, they instantly drew the attention of those around them
'Hey ain't that ASGARD?'
'no shit Bruv, heard they nabbed the Princess of the Li can't
'Wait, isn't that her'
'oh my God, isn't that Baldur?'
'Hes so cute... Wanna go ask for his number'
'Naaa, I'm into guys like Tyr'
'Ughhh, the brooding type'
'So sexy, I wish I could touch his hair...'
'Seriously sister...'

The three of them walked by, the crowd splitting to let them pass. Freya took the lead, Li Mei and Baldur directly behind her. For a D-Class gate, the amount of C-Class would be limited, and even if there was, each had the power to handle it.
Just then, Freya stopped and looked at a part of the crowd. Her eyes traced out a figure of a man, tall with grey hair and black eyes as deep as night. The figure turned his face and gazed back, before smiling slightly. Freya snorted and continued into the gate, ignoring him entirely. Baldur got close to Li Mei and whispered
"That's Freya's older brother, Kai Han... They don't talk much"
The man walked over, with a group of five people surrounding him, blocking her path.
"My my my... If it isn't my little sister, Luara. Still regretting going to such a shitty corp..."
He hadn't even finished talking when a sudden pressure of Quather fell on him. It felt like a predator was watching his every move. Kai shook in fear, before the load of aura was lifted by another soothing one.
"Oh... Seems you should watch your mouth little Kai..." An older voice spoke, it's aura bringing a soothing effect over the crowd.
'Could it be...'

The crowd was aroused into talks as the figure of a middle aged man in a suit and tie floated over the crowd. People squealed in awe as they saw him.
"Little Kai, please don't just go offending people, your attitude will get you into trouble" he said, looking at the Military UV with a smile on his lips. Kai nodded and walked away, looking at his little sister with a hint of contempt.
"Is that enough for you old lady?"
Immediately old Klark said that, a sudden burst of Quather energy flew up, creating a dark clouds in the sky...
"Uh oh... Seems I offended god thunder is also here... You must take this kids seriously..." He chuckled, deflecting the aura sent to him with ease.
"Fine, I'll stop teasing you" he spoke, before looking at the sky. He sent his Quather aura upwards, driving away the clouds from the sky.
Li Mei was shocked by the sudden turn of events. But she learnt a lot of things.
First, her Corp was very popular...
Second, the Captain was very strong... Her has an aura that was able to contend with an S-Class Ascendant.
"Let's go" Luara ordered, her voice calm and collected. She removed her tower shield from her back and marched to the gate...
"All bracelets active now... We're diving" Luara ordered, tapping her bracelet, causing its energy to activate. Li Mei and Baldur did the same
Then, with a spark of will in their eyes, they walked into the Gate.
