Chapter 7 - What If Past Hit Immensely

In the hospital,

Viviana was sitting beside his bed. Her eyes were wet shedding tears.

Barring the situation, her skirt was spotted with his blood. While he was still unconscious having a drip on his arm. She went nearer hesitatingly, tried to pick his hand but could not make up even a little courage. But she tried twice; her fingers were trembling, she moved her hand slowly towards his head, where the gauze was banded, when she put her hand on his forehead; he choked his brow unconsciously. A little smile appeared on her lips and her lips parted.

She remembered the happy memories of their past when they loved each other, the time when they could not separate even just for a moment.

"Why did you do that, Aidan? Why?" tears fell from her eyes and gradually fell on his hand; his fingers trembled a little.

She brushed her fingers on his hair slowly.

"I'm sorry, Aidan." The words were not coming out of her throat, and when she tried to speak, her tongue trembled, and the sentences stammered out without a voice.

He felt warmth and unconsciously opened up his eyes. The image of her was blurry in his vision.

Someone knocked on the door. Viviana wiped her tears, and Emmy with Emris came inside.

"Viviana, let's go home," Emmy said.

Viviana tilted her head and saw Aidan's eyes were half opened up in a daze, she raised herself up from the chair. Although her image was blurry in his vision, the white skirt, the hand with bloody red color, he saw.

She was just going out but Aidan grabbed her hand. The tears burst out once more. Emmy and Emris were startled.

"I think his memory comes back." Emmy's eyes were fixed on him while uttering.

"Let's go, Viviana, we should go now."

Emris was feeling her pain behind what she was pretending, he could felt that she didn't want to lose his hand. Emmy went forward.

"Viviana, don't hurt yourself, let's go."

" Just some seconds more, Emmy." The words slipped out in sorrow, which made Emmy a little emotional; she held her tightly. At that moment, the hand that was her a little hope, a feeling that she had never felt once, slowly ungripped and fell onto the bed. And his eyes closed, making them worried. Viviana's hand was still in a position; her mind had immigrated from where she was.

The sister came inside the room and removed the drip. The scene was depressing for Viviana. She pulled herself forward.

"Aidan, wake up Aidan." She sobbed like a child; she couldn't take herself aback at the situation when she was pretending, but she failed.

"I'm sorry, Aidan, please don't leave."

Emmy saw Emris; their expression was not cold at all, the whole truth, her feelings that she hid from them, revealed. Emmy ever felt her, but she didn't ever tell her about her feelings. And the mask that she ever wore before Emris, and made him feel that she hated his friend, had torn out.

The sister came forward to her and smiled.

"Dear little, he's alive." The drip was finished, that's why I pulled it off, and you know he doesn't need it anymore."

Viviana jolted. Emris smiled at her. And Emmy felt guilty.
