Third Person :
The sun was high by the time Jay Jay and Keifer ventured farther along the beach, their hands brushing every few steps, their smiles shy but lingering.
It was as if the kiss had unlocked something dangerous between them — something raw and unstoppable.
Keifer couldn't stop looking at her.
Every time Jay Jay laughed — every time she glanced up at him from under her lashes — he felt like a man on the edge of madness.
She was his now.
And God help him, he was obsessed.
"You're staring again," Jay Jay teased, bumping her shoulder against his.
"I'll never stop," Keifer said easily, flashing her that boyish grin that melted her defenses.
"Get used to it, babe. You're stuck with me."
Jay Jay shook her head, but she was smiling.
She liked the way he said it. Like she belonged to him.
They found a shaded grove beyond the rocks, a hidden little paradise — thick with vines and a natural spring bubbling through.
Jay Jay knelt to splash cool water on her face, sighing with relief.
Keifer just watched her, the heat between them simmering.
"You're gonna kill me," he muttered.
Jay Jay turned, startled. "What?"
"You," he said, stepping closer, voice low and thick. "Looking like that. All wet and gorgeous and…"
He trailed off, groaning.
"I need a second."
Jay Jay laughed, cheeks pink. "You're so dramatic."
Keifer caught her hand before she could pull away, tugging her close.
"I'm serious, Jay," he whispered. His thumb traced lazy circles against her wrist.
"I'm crazy about you. You don't even have to try… and you wreck me."
She could feel the way his body tensed — like he was holding himself back.
Jay Jay swallowed hard. Her heart was pounding so loud she was sure he could hear it.
"Then stop holding back," she whispered.
Something snapped between them.
Keifer closed the distance and kissed her — deep, hungry, nothing like the sweet kisses from before.
This kiss demanded everything.
Jay Jay gasped into his mouth, her arms winding around his neck instinctively.
Keifer backed her up against a tree, pressing their bodies together, one hand cradling her jaw, the other curling around her waist.
"You have no idea," he breathed between kisses, "how long… I've wanted you like this."
Jay Jay arched into him, clinging to his shoulders, overwhelmed by the heat, the sweetness, the ache of wanting.
She broke the kiss for a second, panting.
"We're supposed to be gathering food," she teased breathlessly.
Keifer grinned against her neck, planting a slow, teasing kiss there.
"Food can wait," he murmured. "You're all I want right now."
His kisses trailed along her jawline, down to her collarbone, each one sending shivers racing through her.
Jay Jay whimpered softly, feeling her knees weaken.
Keifer caught her easily, lifting her up so her legs wrapped around his waist.
He pressed her back against the tree more firmly, kissing her like he couldn't get enough — like he never would.
"Jay Jay…" he said, his voice rough, reverent. "Tell me you're mine. Tell me I'm not dreaming."
Jay Jay cupped his face between her hands, her thumbs brushing across his cheeks tenderly.
"You're not dreaming," she whispered. "I'm yours, Keifer."
His eyes darkened, and he kissed her again — a kiss that left her dizzy, a kiss that said everything words couldn't.
The island disappeared.
The shipwreck, the hunger, the fear — it was all gone.
There was only them.
Only this.
Only the way their hearts beat in perfect, desperate rhythm.

Later, tangled in the grass under the shade, Keifer rested his forehead against Jay Jay's, breathing hard but smiling.
"I think I just fell even harder for you," he said.
Jay Jay laughed softly, threading her fingers through his messy hair.
"You're already hopeless," she teased.
"And I'm not even sorry," Keifer said, kissing her again — slow and deep, a promise for everything that was still to come.
"From now on," he whispered, "it's you and me against the world."
Jay Jay smiled — because for once, she believed him.
With Keifer's arms around her, even a deserted island didn't feel so lonely anymore.
