Elise's gaze lingered on the expensive dress Kelsey was wearing, as if she understood something.
Her tone was sarcastic as she said, "Quiana is really generous. She has her own high-end production line at home, and these clothes aren't even for sale, even if you had the money... She's also straightforward and righteous. Being friends with someone like her can save you a lot of trouble and bring many benefits."
Kelsey's expression changed as she looked directly at Elise. "I'm sorry, are you implying something about me?"
Elise was caught off guard, not expecting Kelsey to be so direct.
After realizing what was happening, she suddenly stepped closer to Kelsey and smiled. "I was just talking casually, and suddenly thought of something and said it out loud. I didn't expect you to take it personally."

Kelsey listened to her long speech but found it ridiculous.
She clenched her fist, then relaxed it. "No need to apologize. I just hope you won't say anything in the future that could be misunderstood."
Elise's face changed, and she coldly snorted, shaking off Kelsey's arm.
Kelsey was about to leave, but after a few steps, she suddenly stopped. "Miss Collins, I don't understand beating around the bush. After all, I don't know you, and this is the first time we've met. If you have any opinions about me, please speak plainly. Otherwise, I won't know where I offended you."
Elise raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised. "Why do you think you offended me?"
The meaning was that Kelsey didn't have the right to.
Kelsey's lips tightened slightly. "I know I look a lot like someone you once knew, although I don't know to what extent. But the fact that Quiana keeps mentioning me shows we do look alike. I don't know if you have any grudges with that person, but I'm sorry, Miss Collins, I really don't know you. I suggest you don't take your anger out on me for no reason. I don't accept baseless accusations."
Her tone was quick but not careless, sounding like she really wanted to distance herself from the other Kelsey.
Unfortunately, Elise had been in the entertainment industry too long to believe people so easily.

Kelsey forced herself to stay calm and looked at her with interest. "I see. So what happened to that lady in the end?"

Elise suddenly raised her voice, like she was recalling something, then shook her head and smiled. "It seems like she didn't succeed in climbing the social ladder, so she jumped off a building and committed suicide. It's been almost a year now, and I can't remember it clearly...
