Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Super Hurricane Ball, Uchiha Clan Extermination

The second-year curriculum was not much different from the first year. The cultural courses remained largely the same, only more challenging. By this point, students who had not been advised to drop out were clearly those who had successfully extracted Chakra. As long as they followed the course through the remaining years, they would either become Genin, recognized by the Jonin and nurtured by the village, or transition into other departments as new recruits. The likelihood of wasting six years only to revert to a normal life was slim.

The next five years would focus on teaching intelligence gathering and assassination techniques. For Izanami, these lessons were hardly difficult—more like a monotonous routine. Within just a few days, he grew tired of the standard curriculum. He quickly abandoned his original plan and sent Izayoi's shadow clone to attend the classes on his behalf while he stayed home to train.

Although he couldn't practice Five Elements Ninjutsu at home, Izanami still had the opportunity to develop his own Ninjutsu. While creating new Ninjutsu typically required a solid understanding of nature transformation and shape transformation, Izanami, as a transmigrator, knew there was one technique that didn't adhere to these requirements: the Rasengan.

The Rasengan, an A-rank, non-attribute, signless Ninjutsu, was developed by the Fourth Hokage over several years, inspired by the Tailed Beast Ball. This technique was most famously used by Uzumaki Naruto throughout his childhood and adulthood, and it had evolved into multiple variations over time. What made the Rasengan unique was that its training method was available to the public, making it a rare example of a non-attribute, user-friendly technique in the world of Ninjutsu. It was a method burned into the minds of Naruto fans—and Izanami was no exception.

However, Izanami's interest in cultivating the Rasengan wasn't to use it as a trump card. His aim was to experiment and develop new forms of Ninjutsu. The Rasengan, while signless, had deep significance in Konoha. Apart from the Fourth Hokage, only his teacher and his disciple had mastered it. If Izanami were to suddenly wield this technique, it would undoubtedly draw the attention of Konoha's higher-ups. Without a reasonable explanation, it could raise all sorts of suspicions—a situation Izanami wanted to avoid.

Instead, he had another idea. He planned to develop a variation of the Rasengan: the Super Hurricane Serial Spheres, also known as the Multiple Giant Spiraling Shuriken. This technique was used by Ōtsutsuki Asura to battle Ōtsutsuki Indra in the TV animation. The principle behind it was similar to Uzumaki Naruto's Planetary Rasengan. First, one would create an energy ball of enormous size, almost equal to the Giant Rasengan. Inside it, five smaller Rasengan-sized energy balls would rotate, adding complexity and power to the technique.

This Ninjutsu had the potential to be thrown or fired, and upon detonation, it would cause a chain reaction with six explosions. The five smaller energy balls inside the larger one would scatter and attack the enemy. Furthermore, just like Naruto's variation of the Rasengan, this technique could be imbued with elemental Chakra, potentially even combining all five elements like the Third Hokage's Great Continuous Technique. The destructive potential would be catastrophic.

Had it not been for the Ōtsutsuki Bloodline (Red) and the Full Attribute Constitution (Purple), Izanami would never have dared to pursue such an ambitious goal. With his upgraded Chakra Control and his powerful Bloodline abilities, he felt confident in his ability to turn this technique from the realm of fiction into reality.

In just one week, Izanami had mastered the Rasengan. Now, all that remained was to enlarge the Rasengan to the size of a basketball and prevent it from detonating before he could attempt to condense smaller energy balls inside. However, the risks were too great to practice at home. If the energy ball were to explode, the consequences would be disastrous.

And so, Izanami waited—patiently—for the right moment.

That moment came on May 15th. Konoha Academy usually had only two or three classes in the afternoon. After a few weeks, a survival exercise would test students' progress. Even in this unique situation, the school would still dismiss at around 5 pm. But on this particular day, second-year students had four classes, and the final survival exercise stretched into the evening.

The Uchiha Clan's compound was located near the Nanga River, on the outskirts of the village. Without using Body Flicker Technique, it took Uchiha Sasuke until nightfall to return to his clan's compound. By then, the full moon had already risen, casting a pale, blood-red glow across the sky.

Izanamii's shadow clone watched Sasuke's retreating figure as the boy left the school grounds and ran home. Izanami knew that after today, this version of Sasuke—aloof and unconcerned with grades—would vanish. In his place would emerge a Sasuke who held a cold aura, placed great importance on family honor and academic success, and whose emotions could be easily manipulated by the right words.

Though the latter Sasuke's life would be tragic, Izanami couldn't help but look forward to it. After all, he had been waiting for this change for an entire year.

The following day, a shocking piece of news spread throughout Konoha like wildfire. Thanks to spies' quick communication, it soon reached the entire Ninja World.

After the fall of the Senju Clan, the Uchiha Clan rose to dominance, becoming the most powerful clan in Konoha and, indeed, the strongest ninja clan in the entire Ninja World. Their Bloodline Limit was revered across the world, with titles like "Invincible in One-on-One Combat," "Copy Eye," "Genjutsu Eye," and more. Yet, despite their overwhelming power and reputation, the Uchiha Clan was destroyed.

The perpetrator of this tragedy was not the Hyuga Clan, who were just as renowned, nor was it the Konoha higher-ups or rival ninja villages. It was the eldest son of the current Uchiha patriarch, Uchiha Itachi, who, at just 13 years old, annihilated his own clan.

In the days that followed, the name "Uchiha Itachi" spread rapidly across the Ninja World, becoming synonymous with shock and awe. He was now the youngest S-rank missing-nin in Konoha—and perhaps even in the entire world.

Izanami had only just stepped outside today when he overheard villagers discussing the event. It was clear this was a monumental occurrence. The level of shock and impact was on par with the Nine-Tails' attack on Konoha 48 years ago.

In just a few short years, Konoha had suffered devastating losses: the deaths of the Fourth Hokage and his wife, the fall of many powerful figures, and now the destruction of the most powerful clan. Konoha had undeniably entered its weakest period since the village's founding.

Once, the village had been home to a number of Kage-level ninjas, enough to count on one hand. Konoha was a force so formidable that it could triumph even in a one-on-four battle. Now, however, only the elderly Third Hokage remained as the last of Konoha's Kage-level powerhouses.

After the Nine-Tails' Rebellion, Konoha had already drawn the interest and scheming of the Hidden Cloud Village. Now, with the Uchiha Clan gone, it seemed only a matter of time before even more enemies would turn their attention toward Konoha.

But contrary to what might have been expected, Konoha remained eerily calm in the years that followed. The major ninja villages seemed to have noticed something was amiss, a shift in the atmosphere that suggested a deeper, unspoken truth.
