I could feel the pull again. It was the same as before—initially weak but later a strong pull. After a few seconds, I got dragged toward the arch. My eyes were closed. When my consciousness returned, it was like I was waking up from a slumber. I opened my eyes and rubbed them a little. Then I remembered that I am not in a place where I can chill. I squatted down to not be noticed by any large dino and stayed vigilant about any small dino or animal that might kill me—especially Titanoboa. But after a few minutes of waiting and vigilance, I saw no dinos that could harm me. Then I remembered that I had chosen the Footpaw Island, which is like the starter island.
I heaved a sigh of relief and saw my surroundings. There were lots of bushes and some stone boulders around. Among the dinos, there were Parasaur, Triceratops, Dodo, Lystrosaurus, and Moschops. I had not seen any carnivorous dinos, but I knew some would be here—like Dilophosaurs, groups of Compy, and Spinosaurus on the border.
As I was eyeing my surroundings, a Parasaur approached me. I knew from the game that they don't attack, but still bro, just think... Those creatures lived billions of years before humans came into existence, and now a human, who is usually a shut-in, would not be afraid and excited!!! After the Parasaur came close to me, it started sniffing me, but as my hand got closer to its head, it ran like a rabbit that had seen a bunch of wolves.
Ohh, so they are afraid of me hahahahahah—I laughed like I was a ferocious predator or something!!!

QUEST
The First Tool
Craft a Stone Pickaxe
Reward 50 XP
--------------
Ohh, so we start with this one!! So for a stone pickaxe, we need three items—that much I remember—but I forgot the quantity. Let's check.
Status..
Status....
What the.
Interface....
UI....
Shit man.
How?
Then my eyes went to the gem embedded on my arm. I clicked on it and voila! UI came in front of me.
I moved to the crafting interface and saw how much quantity of stone, wood, and thatch is needed.
---------------
Crafting
---------------
Map : Thatch x 3 + Fiber
Torch: Flint + Stone + Wood
Pickaxe : Thatch x 10 + Stone + Wood
--------------
So 10 thatch, one stone, and one wood.
I walked towards a tree that was just beside me and punched—thak thak thak thak. After punching four times, I got a notification:
Added 2x Thatch
After seeing this, I started punching. It did hurt, but compared to the excitement of leveling up, it was nothing.
Added 2x Thatch
Added 2x Thatch
Added 2x Thatch
Added 1x Wood
Added 2x Thatch
Added 2x Thatch
And the tree fell—just like in Arch: Survival Evolved—but this time it didn't go invisible like in the game; instead, it turned into particles.
I clicked on the crystal on my hand to see if there were any changes in stats or XP level.
SUPREME ARCH APOCALYPSE
----------------------------------------
Name : Adam
Race : Ancient Human
Level : 0 [ 5 % ]
Health :500
Stamina:200
Food :100
Water:100
Oxygen:100
Weight:300
Melee Damage :300
Movement Speed: 100
Fortitude:30
Attribute Points : 00
---------------------------------------
As I scanned my stats, I saw that beside the level, there is 5% written. I knew what it meant—in Arch: Survival Evolved, we get XP from gathering, crafting, and the biggest boost was from killing dinos.
I collected and collected more of the resources which I needed to make a stone pickaxe.
---
+++++++STORAGE++++++++
Thatch : 20
Wood : 10
Stone : 15
Then I went to the crafting area in my interface and clicked on crafting. After some ding ding ding sounds, the status of storage changed, and a stone pickaxe was visible.
+++++++STORAGE++++++++
Thatch : 10
Wood : 09
Stone : 14
Stone Pickaxe : 01
---
---
I clicked on Equip, and a stone pickaxe appeared in my hands. As I understood from Ark: Survival Evolved, there was a list of items that can be equipped and appear without going to the storage area. I was a little confused about this concept, so I went again to my storage to check if anything was different after equipping the stone pickaxe.
I collected and collected more of the resources which I needed to make a stone pickaxe.
---
+++++++STORAGE++++++++
Thatch : 10
Wood : 09
Stone : 14
Stone Pickaxe : 01 (E)
---
So this (E) indicates *Equipped*. Then I chose stone to be equipped, and the status changed on it too. Just by thinking about the stone, the stone appeared in my hand. Ohh, so the concept was that I have to equip the item in storage and if I think about it, then that item will appear in my hand—now this is legit. But I think there would be some restriction on how many items I can equip. Will see it later when I have lots of items.
I undid the equip from the stone and closed the storage interface. As I was thinking to check my stats interface, I heard the system sound:

Level Up +1
Attribute : +11
I went to my interface area and saw that every attribute had a "+" sign beside it. I pondered how to distribute my attribute points—should I go for one attribute or distribute them evenly?
let's do this I will add 2 points to Health, Stamina, Movement Speed, Fortitude, and 3 to Melee Damage.
After doing this my stats interface looks like this.
