Chapter 68 - Chapter 67: This guy... isn't stupid!

"Finally back!"

Suk returned to the dormitory and stretched.

After sitting on the train and sleeping all the way, he wasn't that tired.

Suk took a quick look around. After two months of neglect, the dormitory was covered in dust.

Whoosh!

Suk opened the window, letting the biting cold wind blow in, to freshen the air.

Grabbing a rag and a basin, he went to the water room to fill it, and Suk began to clean the dormitory with vigor.

He wiped the dust from the corners and the iron frame, threw the pillowcases and duvet covers into the laundry, and put on the new bedding.

Finally, he mopped the floor, and the job was complete.

Looking at the clean dormitory, Suk felt refreshed.

"Suk?"

At this moment, a voice came from outside the door. When Suk turned his head, he saw Sterk standing outside. He looked at Suk with surprise and said, "You're finally back!"

At noon, the two went to town for lunch together.

Since it was the winter break, the cafeteria was closed, so they had to go to town to eat.

They went to Bakic's restaurant as usual.

"Dinamo Zagreb lost so badly?"

Listening to Suk recount his experiences watching the game in Zagreb, Sterk said in surprise.

In his impression, Dinamo Zagreb was the only powerhouse in the Croatian league, the overlord of the entire league.

But this season was so miserable. Those Mostic brothers really don't do human things!

"What if we played against them?" Sterk couldn't help but ask.

Suk thought for a moment, "I don't know what Dinamo Zagreb was like in its prime, but if it was that game, we wouldn't be without a chance to win."

In Suk's opinion, if Zrinjski Mostar played against Dinamo Zagreb with a full squad, they wouldn't be without a chance.

Although the two leagues were far apart in the rankings, Zrinjski Mostar had surpassed the overall level of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so there was still hope for victory.

Hearing Suk's statement, Sterk couldn't help but feel excited.

However, Suk only said half of the truth.

He was talking about the average level of the Croatian league, not the top-tier strength.

The Croatian league was definitely more intense than the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This could be clearly distinguished from the game Suk watched.

The performance and condition of each position were not comparable to the Bosnian league.

The overall rhythm, discipline, and tactical changes were also particularly clear.

The most crucial thing was the offensive and defensive rhythm.

Faster! Stronger!

Suk might not even be able to quickly adapt to that intense and rapid offensive and defensive transition speed, let alone others.

Therefore, Suk believed that if it was Dinamo Zagreb in its prime, they would really suppress Zrinjski Mostar in all aspects.

After lunch, the two returned to the dormitory.

After changing into his training clothes, Suk went to the field to train.

It was still the holiday, but some people were doing extra training on their own.

When Suk arrived at the field, he saw Kosopec and Boame.

"Aren't you two taking a vacation?"

Suk shouted from outside the barrier.

Kosopec turned his head, and Suk immediately raised his hand and said, "Captain, good afternoon."

After Suk walked in, Kosopec smiled and said, "My injury has just recovered, and I want to start rehabilitation training first, so that I can directly participate in the training camp when the second half of the season starts."

Kosopec felt that he was old and recovered slowly.

But a clumsy bird should start early!

He still wanted to play for a few more years, and in recent years, he felt that his condition hadn't declined too much.

Moreover, with Suk's arrival, he was also trying different styles, expanding his technical level, and extending his career.

Boame was much simpler.

With Oliveira gone, he was also liberated. Although Suk now occupied the winger position, he also had to prepare for the future.

He was not willing to be a substitute all the time.

If he couldn't compete with Suk, then he would compete with Biljar.

"Can you practice some forward passing and running with me?"

Boame mustered his courage and said to Suk.

Suk's expression was slightly surprised, but he quickly turned his head to look at Kosopec and said, "Captain, shall we practice shooting?"

He pretended not to hear.

The reason was simple: Suk didn't need to practice with him.

Boame's expression was slightly frustrated.

In the end, Kosopec couldn't stand it anymore.

"Suk, let's practice together. If Biljar gets injured, we can still play together."

Seeing that the old Big Brother had spoken, Suk reluctantly nodded.

Finding a few obstacle dummies and placing them in the middle, Suk pointed to the dummies and said, "In a moment, you will go around these dummies to receive my pass. You decide when to start your forward run, and finally pass the ball from between the two dummies to the center, or directly lob the ball for the captain to head!"

"Understood!" Boame nodded immediately.

Suk then said, "Let's start!"

With that, Suk kicked the ball out, but Boame was still standing there blankly.

"Why are you still standing there like an idiot? Go get the ball!"

Suk shouted impatiently.

Boame immediately turned his head to pick up the ball.

When Suk passed the ball again, Boame chased the ball elegantly and then completed the cross.

Just as Boame was very satisfied with his performance, Suk's scolding also came.

"Too slow! Do you think the defenders in the game are also dummies? They will run, they will chase back, and try to interfere with you as much as possible, so you need to be faster! Run at full speed when you start!"

Bang!

A kick passed.

"Are you taking a walk? I told you to run at full speed to chase the ball!"

Bang!

Suk passed the ball.

"Adjust after stopping the ball! Adjust with small steps. Are you shooting or passing? Again!"

Suk was very strict, and Boame didn't say a word, silently continuing his forward run.

Kosopec looked at Suk's appearance, and his expression couldn't help but be a little strange.

This guy was obviously increasing the power when passing the ball, making Boame work very hard to chase it, with some deliberate difficulty.

Had Boame offended Suk?

On the other side, Suk looked at Boame panting, and then felt a little more comfortable in his heart.

"Okay, starting with the next pass, I can't guarantee the accuracy!"

With that, Suk ran directly to the midfield near the left sideline of the field.

Boame was on the right side.

The distance between the two was very far.

Suk placed the ball at his feet and took a deep breath.

He was going to practice something new.

Previously, Suk had kicked a pass similar to De Bruyne's pass, which was also praised by Baso Daci as a 'rainbow pass'.

But since then, Suk hadn't tried it again.

On the one hand, he hadn't practiced it successfully, and on the other hand, the conditions were very harsh.

Now there was a full month, and he had to accompany Boame to practice passing and running, so he might as well practice it himself.

With that, Suk placed the ball at his feet, retreated slightly, and then rubbed the back of his right foot fiercely.

The ball flew high with a whoosh, directly towards the goal.

Boame: "? ? ?"

Is this what you call not being able to guarantee accuracy?

This is too far off!

Suk also scratched his head awkwardly.

"Again!"

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

"Success!"

Watching the ball fly in a huge arc close to the turf to Boame's feet on the other side, Suk was overjoyed.

He succeeded once in six kicks, and the accuracy was good.

Now he needed to constantly try and reduce the error rate.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

"Get lost!" Kosopec couldn't stand it anymore, he scolded with a smile: "Are you guys making us pick up the ball for you? What kind of passes are these? You can only pass a decent pass after five or six kicks. Are you practicing or are we practicing?"

Suk scratched his cheeks awkwardly and said, "I'll practice first, and then it'll be your turn."

Kosopec: "We'll practice first, and then accompany you to practice passing. If it doesn't work, you can practice by yourself!"

Suk nodded immediately.

After all, his pass also needed someone to pass the ball to him. Not every kick was a fixed-point pass.

They were training intensely throughout the afternoon.

First, passing and running training to increase tacit understanding.

Then, connecting passing and running in staggered runs.

Finally, continuous staggered runs, during which the ball needed to be passed around.

The tactics were becoming more and more complex.

When passing the ball at the beginning, Boame was very uncomfortable, but this guy had good talent and quickly adapted.

In one afternoon, the passing and running coordination was quite good.

"Now it's my turn, right?"

Suk looked at Kosopec and said.

Kosopec looked at the slightly dimming sky and said, "Tomorrow, it's getting dark."

Suk immediately refused.

Why should he be a sparring partner for free?

At this time, Boame suddenly said, "I'll pass the ball to you, I'll practice with you!"

Suk said in surprise, "You'll practice with me?"

Boame nodded: "I will practice this pass with you in the future, but I have a request, let me chase all these passes!"

Suk nodded immediately.

No problem!

He couldn't wait for someone to pick up the ball for him.

Kosopec looked at the two and waved his hand and said, "Then I'll go first, don't practice too late."

The two waved their hands absentmindedly, and then gathered together to study.

They practiced until night.

Suk tried arc ground shots one after another, while Boame silently chased the ball.

No matter how bad Suk kicked, he would chase the ball, unless it was too outrageous.

In this run, Suk saw that Boame was also panting, obviously exhausted.

"Let's rest, continue tomorrow."

Suk wiped a handful of sweat. He was a little tired, let alone Boame.

Watching this guy hug the ball and walk over panting, Suk couldn't help but be curious and said, "Why do you want to pick up the ball?"

"It's catching the ball!"

Boame emphasized.

Suk shrugged: "It's the same! So, why?"

Boame was silent for a moment and said, "Your arc pass has a strong penetration. If I can form a cooperation with you, I will have more effect."

"No one wants to pick up the ball, and neither do I!"

"But I want to play as a starter, so I must form a tacit understanding with you."

"How to maximize your passing ability, this is a test question released by the coaching staff, and it is aimed at all forwards. This is my only chance to be promoted to the main force!"

Suk looked at Boame in surprise.

This guy... isn't stupid!
