Akane seemed to be hit with a sudden realization. She had disappointed the one woman she thought of like a mother. Not only that, but she realized that Kasumi was right. She did blame Ranma for everything in her life, and she didn't know why. Ever since it was revealed that Ranma had a curse, she felt she couldn't help her temper, which rapidly boiled over just by looking at Ranma.
Realization seemed to echo across the room as people truly started to process Kasumi's words. Kasumi, the supporting pillar, was leaving all because of how she and Ranma were treated. But that's not the only thing that some of the people in the room began to realize. All throughout the conversation, no one besides Genma had referred to Ranma as 'he.' And even though everyone was referring to Ranma as 'she,' Ranma didn't seem bothered by it.
By the time everyone realized this fact, Ranma had seemed to recover and was quietly apologizing to Shampoo with her head on her shoulder. "I'm sorry, Shamps, I was just so angry. How can someone think messing with someone's condoms was okay?" Ranma took a step back from Shampoo, her eyes trailing to the ground. Unable to look at the girl she just hurt, a thought struck her. She once heard of a myth that a cat's saliva can help the healing process.
In addition, her ki helps her heal faster, especially now that it is stronger. Maybe she could combine the two things to help Shampoo heal a little faster. "Shampoo, um, could I try something? I didn't mean to hurt you, and I want to try to fix it." Shampoo gave a gentle nod as everyone finally directed their attention back to the duo. Ranma brought Shampoo close with her arms around her waist and leaned in. Ranma gently nuzzled her for a moment before she began to lick Shampoo's deep bite wound.
When the blood first touched Ranma's tongue, she expected it to taste like iron; instead, it tasted like a rich honey that kept coming in waves. A loud purr radiated from her chest that didn't go unnoticed by anyone in the room. Nor did the swishing of her tail rhythmically sway back and forth at a fast rate. Ranma didn't know what blood was made of, but she knew it wasn't supposed to taste like this. It had to be something else.
Ranma decided to ignore this and began to lick Shampoo more intensely as she lapped up most of the excess blood. She then began to pool some of her ki into her tongue, which she would force into Shampoo's body with every lick. Shampoo let out a small squeak as all the pain in her shoulder began to disappear and was replaced by a comfortable cold feeling that began to radiate throughout her body.
As it traveled through her veins, it settled into her core of ki like it was nurturing it. Her wound began to close up slowly at first, but then it sped up until it was completely sealed, only leaving a prominent scar on her shoulder. If one looked closely, they could see where each individual tooth penetrated the skin. They were interrupted by someone clearing their throat, and that is when the two came back from their own little world.
Blushing, they both stepped away from each other, but Shampoo noticed that she could still feel Ranma's ki inside her circulating and pulsing. Ranma sighed to herself and began addressing everyone. "So you all might have noticed that I reacted weirdly to Akane's stupidity. That is because something did happen," Everyone besides Ranma's group and Kasumi gasped.
"Oh, relax, I didn't get anyone pregnant," Ranma laughed to herself as everyone let go of the breath they were holding. She knew it wasn't the time for a prank, but she needed this. She had had so many ups and downs that she couldn't help but get their hopes up before she batted their feelings to the ground as they had done to her many times before. "I didn't get anyone pregnant, but I guess I should congratulate you, Pops. You're gonna be a grandpa."
Laughing to herself, she continued before anyone could interrupt her. "The person I was sleeping with was a boy, not a girl. And well, I thought we were safe, so I didn't change back immediately after. I was kind of emotional at the time; after all, I kind of got dumped." She mumbled the last part more to herself than to her very captivated audience. "So I wasn't thinking straight, but when I went to change back and clean up, this happened," referring to herself with a gesture. "As soon as the water touched my skin, I blacked out."
Everyone seemed speechless, except Genma, who appeared to be seething, only staying quiet under threat of bodily harm. Ranma continued, thankful for Happosai actually being on her side, or else she knew she would be forced to fight her father. "So since this happened, I'll just say yes, I plan to stay as a girl forever. Being a male made me uncomfortable; the only reason I had stayed a boy for so long was obviously you, Pops." Genma just glared harder at that. "Now that I'm pregnant, I really can't hide the truth. I plan to keep the baby."
