Yukina was walking towards where Kaito was battling while thinking to herself, "That girl Ameyuri has as much chakra as Zabuza and Zabuza went to back her up after I left him."
"I don't think these two will have a problem defeating their opponents and it will be no fun if I join hands with them; we will outnumber our foes.
"I should go and watch the battle that the Yuki clan genin is taking part in. If I go there, I will be able to see how he uses his ice release kekkei genkai, which will benefit me in the future."
Yukina smirked after coming up with this idea and hurried towards Kaito's location, who was in the midst of a battle with two shinobi.

With Kaito
Kaito was wearing an ice glove full of spikes on both of his fists, and he was engaging against a muscular middle-aged man in Taijutsu.
While he was engaging the middle-aged shinobi in taijutsu, his foe easily dodged Kaito's fists and countered him with his fists many times.
"BAAM, BAAM, BAAM, BAAM."
The middle-aged shinobi's companion is a middle-aged woman with average looks. She threw a couple of shurikens at Kaito, forcing Kaito to retreat quickly to dodge these shurikens.
Yukina arrived on the battlefield and she started watching the battle intently. Her eyes brightened up when she saw the ice gloves that Kaito was wearing.
"Interesting idea; the ice-release kekkei genkai is way more flexible than the hyrofication kekkei genkai. What else can he do with the ice-release kekkei genkai?" Yukina asked herself.
After Kaito created some distance between himself and his foes, he started executing a series of hand seal sequences.
After he finished executing the hand seal sequence, a bow and arrows made of ice appeared from thin air.
Yukina smirked when she saw this and Kaito started shooting one arrow after another at his foes.
Kaito's foes started dodging his arrows with difficulty, but Kaito kept firing at them one after another.
"Very interesting. It seems this ice release Kekkei genkai has incredible potential. It all depends on the user's imagination and execution."
Suddenly, Yukina's eyes brightened up when she thought of an idea.
Yukina giggled after coming up with the idea and asked herself, "Could I create firearms using the ice release kekkei genkai?"
After thinking for a few moments, she smiled brightly and said to herself, "Yeah, it is definitely possible. I understand how those firearms work and how to assemble and disassemble all their parts, thanks to my military training; however, my main problem is that my control over my ice chakra is not yet refined enough. According to Ema Sensei, I need to master my water and wind affinity first before I start honing my ice chakra."
"My second problem is the ammo. I will need to experiment a lot with my ice release to see if I can create ammo out of it."
After Yukina had this thought, her eyes shone with determination as she continued to watch the battle unfolding in front of her.

With Ryu
Ryu was hiding under the seawater while masking his presence; his eyes were full of malice as he watched Yukina from his hiding position.
He slowly and silently rose to the surface and started executing a series of hand seal sequences.
While Yukina was watching the battle in front of her, she suddenly felt someone behind her was molding chakra for a jutsu.
She quickly turned around and saw multiple sharp ice blades were flying towards her with incredible speed.
"SWISH, SWISH, SWISH, SWISH."
Yukina quickly jumped to the side, dodging the ice blades with difficulty.
However, Ryu suddenly appeared in front of Yukina, like a ghost with an ice sword in hand, ready to stab her in the heart.
Yukina quickly transformed her body into water and scattered herself in many droplets across the sea.
Ryu snorted upon seeing this and began executing a lengthy series of hand seal sequences. After finishing the hand seal sequence, Ryu slapped his hands on the seawater surface and spoke.
"Ice Style: Ice Order."
"SOCH."
The seawater started freezing at incredible speeds, and when Yukina noticed this, she started diving as far and as fast as she could, trying to get away from Ryu's freezing range.
However, Yukina wasn't fast enough, and her slender legs slowly started freezing.
"Damn it." Yukina cursed, seeing that her legs started to freeze. Then she realized that her thighs started freezing too.
Thick layers of ice covered Yukina's legs, preventing her from using them any longer.
"I had just started having fun in this world. Am I really going to die today?" Yukina thought to herself while she was rapidly thinking of a way out.

With Fuguki
Fuguki was hiding himself in genjutsu while watching Yukina get ambushed by Ryu. He didn't interfere with the battle and just kept watching.
When he saw Yukina's legs and thighs get frozen, he stood up, grabbed Samehada, and shunshened away.
Fuguki suddenly appeared in front of Ryu, swinging his Samehada downward at him.
Ryu widened his eyes in shock when he saw Fuguki suddenly appearing in front of him and he quickly retreated.
However, out of nowhere, a clone of Fuguki appeared next to Ryu, and when he saw the ram's hand seal that the clone was executing, Ryu widened his eyes in disbelief and yelled in his head, "Damn it, he tricked me; he planned every move from the start."
"Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu."
Water enveloped Ryu and trapped him inside a sphere.
Ryu glared at the clone while observing the real Fuguki walking calmly towards him.
Ryu glared at the real Fuguki when he saw him standing in front of him, and then he started freezing the water prison.
"CRACK, BOOM."
After Ryu froze the water prison, it exploded into many small shards, freeing him from the water prison jutsu.
At the same time, Samehada flew from Fuguki's grasp; it shredded its bandages, opened its huge jaw, and bit off Ryu's right arm.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH."
Ryu falls to his knees, bleeding profusely after losing his arm.
Fuguki then stood in front of the kneeling Ryu and said to him coldly, "I warned that moron Yukitaro that I would kill him if he tried anything against my apprentice, but it seems he didn't take my warning seriously so I guess I will need to make an example out of you so he can understand how serious I am."
Fuguki didn't give Ryu any chance to reply; he swung Samehada and chopped off his head.

With Kaito
When Kaito, who was battling against the enemy shinobi, saw his father's head was chopped off by Fuguki, he froze in his spot in shock. He felt that his entire world was crashing in front of him.
When the muscular, middle-aged shinobi saw Kaito's shocked expression, he turned his head and saw Fuguki standing in front of a headless corpse.
The muscular, middle-aged shinobi widened his eyes in fright when he saw Fuguki and he yelled to his companion, "Rina, get ready to retreat."
He quickly grabbed a kunai from his pouch and stabbed Kaito's heart.
"PU."
Kaito was in a state of confusion from seeing his father get killed in front of him; he couldn't recover in time, still standing in shock from seeing his father's dead corpse.
Kaito coughed out blood from his mouth after receiving a stab in the heart, and he started thinking to himself, "What the hell is happening?" I don't understand. It must be fake. Father can't die yet; he promised me that he will become the new clan leader in the future and if I work hard, he will help me to be Mizukage one day."
Kaito's eyes then became heavy, and he fell into the seawater, lifeless.
After killing Kaito, the middle-aged shinobi and Rina quickly retreated and fled the battlefield.

With Fuguki
Fuguki didn't bother himself with Kaito's death; he dove in the seawater after killing Ryu to rescue Yukina.
He saw Yukina couldn't use her legs to swim underwater; she was only using her arms.
Fuguki quickly approached Yukina grabbed her and swam back to the surface.
Yukina relaxed when she saw Fuguki was the one who grabbed her.
After they swam back to the surface, Fuguki grabbed Samehada, and he laid it at Yukina's frozen legs.
"CRACK. CRACK."
Quickly the thick ice layer that was covering Yukina's legs started to crack; after a few seconds, it shattered completely.
Yukina sighed in relief after seeing the ice that was covering her legs shatter completely. She bowed her head to Fuguki and said, "Fuguki sensei, thank you for saving me."
Fuguki didn't reply at first, then he started scolding Yukina: "You made a wrong decision when you dove underwater, Yukina; you allowed Ryu to take advantage of the environment and use it against you."
"Explain to me now, Yukina, how could you make such an amateur mistake? Using the environment against your foes is the most basic principle of Shinobi warfare."
Yukina lowered her head in shame and thought to herself, "He is right; even in my past life, I would never have made this amateur mistake. I became arrogant after my victories in previous battles."
She then apologized to Fuguki, saying, "I am sorry, sensei. I've grown arrogant after my victories in my last battles."
Fuguki nodded his head in satisfaction after hearing this. He then pointed in one direction and said, "Two enemy shinobi just retreated from this battlefield after seeing me. I want you to confront them immediately, utilizing only your kenjutsu against them. Get going."
Yukina nodded her head obediently, unsheathed her katana, and headed toward the two shinobi that Fuguki ordered her to deal with.
