The voice faded away again, but this time Ari sat up at full attention while whispering quietly to NOVA.
"Old man? Doesn't work properly? Hey, Nova, is he talking about when he absorbed stats?"

"Hey! Tell me!" Ari harshly whispered before clearing his throat as he felt an itch in his throat, and his nose twitched from inhaling dust all over the stairwell.
