[Cutaway from the main characters.]
Ten hours after the incident.
Five individuals stand around a table in what appears to be a secret briefing room. Behind them, a large wall-mounted screen and projector display footage of the airport incident.
The image shows the crime scene at ViVi's Bakery, now annotated with diagrams and red circles highlighting key moments.
At the head of the table stands a long-haired woman—clearly the leader. She wears a simple coat and skirt, and the rest of the team is dressed plainly, too. No ties, no suits—no overt signs of formality.
The woman taps on the screen, switching the feed to show interior footage of the bakery—after police and rescue had already cleared the scene.
The image reveals chaos. Furniture is wrecked, the place looks like a battleground. Bloodstains spatter the walls and floors in directions that make reconstructing the event almost impossible.
Five bodies lie under black-and-yellow tape, each wrapped in cloth.
"Autumn has been neutralized."
Her opening statement silences the group.
"Autumn? He's dead?"
A young man with blue hair in his early twenties speaks up, stunned.
"It's true."
The woman nods.
"Trigon… when you infiltrated the rescue team, what did you find?"
A short-haired Indian woman, her right eye hidden beneath bangs, steps forward and flips the slide.
She's known to the team as Trigon.
"Autumn's body showed no external wounds. No signs of struggle."
"But internally?"
"A different story," she replies.
"His organs were shredded—like someone threw a blender into his stomach."
"So he died from internal trauma?"
"Poison," Trigon answers.
"He was poisoned. But he managed to fire a shot before dying. There was some kind of fight. The bullet he fired… ended up in this man."
A new image shows the corpse of Officer Harvey.
The team processes the information without speaking, letting Trigon continue.
"Autumn fired only one bullet. Just one. But we found three more corpses in the scene. Two were decapitated and unidentifiable. The third, we confirmed, was a mercenary—codename: Soniya."
A dossier on Soniya appears.
"She worked for several employers. Our intel says her latest boss was Fred Wetton and Priya Wetton. We're still investigating their involvement, but it's not hard to guess. Soniya and her subordinates were likely there on their orders."
"You think this is about the kid?"
The team leader asks.
"Highly likely," Trigon says.
"Here's the strange part—we've all noticed it. Autumn only fired one bullet. There's no way he took out four people while his insides were being destroyed. And then—look at this."
She flips to a slide of the crime scene after the battle.
".45 caliber bullet holes are everywhere—assassin-grade weapons. Soniya and her crew were in a firefight… but clearly not with Autumn."
"Which means someone else was involved. And they escaped."
Then, she zooms in on the headless corpses of Amy and Yuri.
"The skull fragments scattered forward. The chest cavities are torn open. These two were shot—point-blank."
"Point-blank how close?"
"An arm's length."
"So… a gun?"
The leader asks.
Trigon shakes her head.
"No gun fragments. No residue. Not even a trace."
The team furrows their brows in confusion.
"That's the thing. A real bullet would've left some residue, some powder burns—but there's none. Even Soniya had wounds that looked like gunfire but had no residue."
"Unless it wasn't a bullet."
A tall woman—around 180cm—with long black hair, a flashy outfit, one shoulder bare and heels clicking, speaks up.
She's been analyzing quietly until now.
The blonde man beside her turns.
"What do you mean, Blandchett? If it wasn't a bullet, then what was it?"
"Ever seen No Country for Old Men, Euclid?"
Their names emerge: Blandchett and Euclid.
"No."
"There's a character, Anton Chigurh. He uses a cattle gun—a pneumatic bolt gun that can kill without gunpowder or residue. You aim it at a cow's head, fire, and send them to the afterlife instantly."
She approaches the zoomed-in wound on Soniya's arm.
"That's what this reminds me of. But this wasn't a cattle gun—because even that couldn't obliterate skulls like this."
"So what are you saying? Someone's walking around an airport with a gas tank and killing people?"
"No. I'm saying whoever did this used air—some kind of pressure-based attack. Something that doesn't leave the usual signs."
She turns to Trigon.
"No other leads?"
"No. The security feed from 9 PM to midnight was completely disrupted. Autumn couldn't contact us. Witnesses claimed the floor turned liquid and absorbed things—that was Soniya's ability."
"Right. But?"
"There's more. Autumn's phone and ID were destroyed. His SIM card was ground into powder. His gun remained intact—but had no serial number."
"So the enemy did it?"
Blue-haired man.
"Or Autumn destroyed it himself."
The team leader clenches her teeth.
"…At least they can't trace this back to us. With Autumn's evidence gone and the gun untraceable…"
She sighs, then turns to the team.
"Then I think you all know what our next objective is."
Her eyes lift toward the projector.
It now displays the faces of a husband and wife:
Fred Wetton and Priya Wetton.
