Chapter 11 - The fan and The celeb

Good people....sorry I'm late with the update. I'm currently busy with School and work so my delivery may be slug-ish for a while. On the other side, I'm glad you guys have been enjoying the story till now amd I hope I continue to give you good chapters.

By the 15th of May, Landon's album was now going for it's second week as the number one on the hot 200's. His songs where being played at every radio station across the world. Landon being the workaholic he is was locked up in the studio. Rachel came running in to see him. After catching her breath she dropped the news on him.

"Landon. You're album....you're album just went Gold."

Landon just like before kept his composure. "Oh? That's good."

Rachel was taken by shock by his response. Usually it takes months to reach Gold, but here you had a 20year old acting like it's nothing. "Is this what being a music genius is like?" She thought to herself. Landon on the other hand wasn't surprised, the songs he put on his albums were all major songs in the future. They were songs that their rightful artists could call their best songs ever but now they where called "masterpieces made by Landon Asher".

"Landon, I hope you're ready. Your tour starts on the 25th." She said after regaining her composure. "I've booked you a total of 16 shows then up until July. So I want you to take a break from the studio up until the 25th."

"Thank you." Landon says as he smiles at Rachel. "I'll start resting tomorrow." Landon's calm demeanor was both intriguing and intimidating. Despite the monumental achievement of going gold, he seemed unfazed, almost as if he had expected it all along. Rachel, on the other hand, was still reeling from the news. Who would've thought that her first artist would achieved this level of success so quickly?

As she watched Landon continue to work on his music, she couldn't help but wonder what drove him. Was it passion, dedication, or something more? Whatever it was, it seemed to be working. His album was a game-changer, and people were taking notice.

The tour schedule Rachel had planned was ambitious, with 16 shows spread out over several weeks. Landon would have to perform in front of thousands of fans every night, but Rachel was confident that he was up to the task. She had seen him connect with his audience before on his lives, and she knew that he had a natural charisma that would serve him well on stage.

As she left the studio, Rachel couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had been working in the music industry for a long time, but this was the first time she had seen an artist achieve this level of success so quickly. She was eager to see what the future held for Landon, and she was honored to be a part of his team.

Meanwhile, Landon continued to work on his music, driven by a passion that seemed to burn brighter with every passing day. He was already thinking about his next move, planning his next album and considering new collaborations. The tour was just the beginning, and Landon was ready to take his music to the world.

With a newfound sense of determination, Landon put down his instrument and stood up, stretching his arms over his head. He walked over to the window, gazing out at the city below. He felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that his music was touching people's lives. But he also knew that this was just the beginning. He had a long way to go, and he was ready to put in the work.( means stealing other people's songs regardless of having the talent of one of the best ghost writers out there.)

May 16th.

He walks out of his apartment. For a man who was considered the hottest new act, Landon really didn't care much about his appearance. Here he stood, wearing a simle blue jean with a red t-shirt, and a black cap. The apartment he lived in was not a bad one, but it was not something you'd expect a celebrity to be seen walking out off.

The neighbors greated him as he passed them in the hallways. A little girl, around 15/16 years of age was shocked when she saw him. "OMG, omg, omg. You're him!" She said loudly." Landon put on a small smile and treated her back. "Hey. Who may you be?"

The girl who couldn't hold back her excitement quicky answered. "I- I'm Branda. I'm currently visiting my friend. She stays in room number 68."

"Oh, you're talking about Trish? You're here to ser her?" He asked softly.

"Omg. You know my friends name? So cool. Can I- can I please get a photo with you. Landon, Sir, Sir Landon?" She asked looking down.

Landon with a simple nod and a few words brought pleasure to the girl. "Sure. Take out your phone and let's take a selfie."

He takes about 4 pictures with the Girl and hands her back her phone. The two say their goodbyes and He finally heads out to his car. It was a second hand Black Audi A4 that the previous Landon bought before taking his life. The car itself was still in good condition despite being a second hand. After warming up the engine for about 5 minutes he finally asked himself. "Where to now?" After spending almost 2 minutes, he finally decided to just go to the nearest café near his apartment. He was a regular there so the people didn't make much of it when they saw him, only a few came here and there. Landon had his own little corner in the shop where he'd sit while having his coffee and pancake. The owner of the shop used to treat it like a VIP area. It informally became known as "The sit of Asher". As Landon was heading there. He noticed that a female figure was sitted there. Not that he minded. "Can I sit, or are you expecting someone?" Landon said softly and calmy.

The lady raised her head from her phone slowly. "Look, how many times do I have to tell you guys that I just want to be left alone." As she finishes her sentences, she saw what stood infront of her wasn't a journalist. Embarrassment took over as she saw who it was. A man who has been making waves on the music scene lately. "Landon!?" She said shocked.

"Yeah. That's me." He responded mockingly.

The lady instantly replied. "Yeah. You can sit." Landon keeping his composure just responded with a nod. The two set in awkward silence. The girl tries her best to break the silence. "So you're not even gonna ask for my name? You're as cold as the rumors say you say, Mr Asher." She said teasing him.

"Lizz Gillies, actor and singer. Mostly recognizedby your role in. Victorious" He responded coldly. The akward silence returned between the two.

"So, you've topped the charts with your first album. That's impressive. And that song with Sia, I like it. " Landon, being cold as he Is only nodded and gave one word as a response. "Thanks."

Liz wasn't used to this. Usually she had men fighting to get her attention, and here you have a fresh new celebrity who wasn't interested in what she was saying. However, she was determined to get his attention by all means. "I've gotta ask. What's the motivation behind your album. The fans want to know about this lady you're singing so much about."

Landon let's out a heavy sigh. "No one per say. I just took motivation from the Twilight saga and Anna Todd's book 'After'. I put myself in the shoes of the main male leads and write based on what I think they'll feel in a particular situation."

Liz, still showing curiosity couldn't help but laugh. "Wait, you like Twilight? That's my first time hearing a man says he does. I mean I know a few who do, but they'd rather die than actually admit it. As for the Anna Todd one, I don't think I've heared of hit. But, I'll give it a read."

Landon being composed just looked at her. "You have a cute laugh." He said out of nowhere. The compliment caught Liz off guard as she stops laughing and looks at Lamdon. "What?" She responded as she starts to turn red.

"You laugh. I said it's cute." He responded.

Liz's eyes widened in surprise, and she felt a flutter in her chest. She hadn't expected Landon to be so direct, especially after being so aloof throughout their conversation. She tried to play it cool, but her voice came out a little softer than she intended. "Oh, thanks...I guess."

Landon's expression remained neutral, but his eyes seemed to hold a hint of amusement. "I'm glad you liked the compliment," he said, his voice still low and smooth.

Liz couldn't help but feel a little more intrigued by Landon's sudden change in demeanor. She leaned forward slightly, her curiosity getting the better of her. "So, Mr. Asher, you're full of surprises, aren't you?"

Landon raised an eyebrow, his gaze locked on hers. "I suppose I am," he replied, his voice dripping with a hint of mystery.

The air between them seemed to thicken, and Liz felt herself getting drawn into Landon's orbit. She couldn't quite explain it, but there was something about him that was captivating, despite his initial coldness. She found herself wanting to know more about him, to peel back the layers and see what lay beneath.

"Tell me, Landon," she said, her voice taking on a more intimate tone. "What do you like to do for fun?" Landon's expression softened slightly, and he leaned back in his chair. "I'm not sure I'd call it fun," he said, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "But I do enjoy writing. It's...therapeutic, I suppose."

Liz's eyes lit up with interest. "Writing? What kind of writing?" Landon's smile grew slightly, and he leaned forward, his eyes locking onto hers. "Songs, mostly. But sometimes...other things."
