After Theries returned, her tear-filled eyes did not leave my mind. Theries Ribendo—the Flower of the Kingdom—is colder than ice. I've seen her like that before, distant and unreadable. Why would she cry over something so … trivial?
My thoughts won't let me go.
I sit and think, silent and still, trying to make sense of it. "Young Master. The night has fallen dark."
"I have prepared the clothing for tonight."
Alice's cold words snap me back to reality.
"It's already night."
I look out the window, the sun has set, and the moon has risen. I know it's time to see who has the nerve to touch me.
I put on the clothing that Alice has prepared for me, but... why do I look like an assassin?
I frowned, looking at the reflection from the silver mirror, confusion visible on my face.
"Alice, you know that I am a mage, right?" I ask, confusion in my tone.
"Yes, young master. I know that since the day I became your slave," she replies, cold and firm.
I make a sarcastic nod, "Then, why do I look like an assassin?".
No joke.
The black coat hugs my frame like it's stitched from shadow. The fabric doesn't make sound- no rustle, no weight- just silence. The hood covers my face.
Under the dark of my hood, my blue eyes glow bright.
I shake my head in exhaustion. "I look menacing!".
In calmness, Alice replies, "That's why it fit perfectly."
Can't argue with that.
Maybe a little menacing assassin look could be useful here.

'I get the second one since my path is "Hidden Neutral"... But the first one doesn't make sense.'
*Sigh*
Whatever...
Let's get to work.
"Let's go, Alice.", I turn and say to her.
Alice, wearing the same maid outfit as usual, replies calmly. "Yes, young master."
I grab my magic-imbued gloves and am ready to set out.
"Now, let's pay those thugs a visit.", I smile, faint and yet visible.
'Come to think of it, this is my first time in the field after I hid.'

In the dark alley, behind a dark oak door, there is a group of thugs.
Some are drinking, some are talking, some are resting.
The sound of laughter, the sound of footsteps on the floor, and the sound of chatter fill the room.
"Boss", among the noise, a man delivers a word to his boss, Diggie.
"Do you think working for that guy is a good idea?" he asks.
He does not intend to doubt his boss' decision, but he can't help but suspicious of that guy.
"I mean, he looks exactly like him." The man's words contain doubts and uneasiness about the guy in question.
"It's fine," Diggie replies confidently. "As long as we don't do anything big, we will be fin-"
Boom!!
Before Diggie's words end, the door bursts open, revealing Deniel and Alice.
"The door was locked, so I kicked it open. Hope you don't mind." He speaks joyfully as if he is going to enjoy what's going to happen next.
The previous joyful atmosphere in the room became tense. Something bad is coming.
All the thugs in the room know one thing for sure. That's not him, that's Deniel.
And he's here for us.
