63. The Whereabouts of the Three Phantom Demons – and the Mysterious Man!

(2/5 – Ask for flower tickets!)

"I activate the effect of [Underworld Squire Aidos] from my Graveyard!"

"By banishing this card, I can target 1 monster in my Graveyard with 800 ATK/1000 DEF, except 'Underworld Squire Aidos'. I Special Summon that monster in Defense Position. This turn, I can't Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck."

"The Emperor's resurrection begins!"

"He will live on eternally—"

"—and reign forever!"

"Return to me! [Squire of the Monarchs – Edea]!"

You Feng sneered, then waved his hand. [Underworld Squire Aidos] was banished from the Graveyard. He drew a card sharply across the air, placing it with confidence onto his Duel Disk.

A bright light burst out, and a figure took form before his eyes.

A silver-armored knight stood tall—faithful, disciplined, and proud.

[Squire of the Monarchs – Edea]

Light / Level 1 / Warrior

ATK: 800 / DEF: 1000

"Nani!? Masaka!" (No way...!)

Daitokuji-sensei's eyes widened in disbelief.

"It's no use trying to recover now!"

"Now appear! [Underworld Squire – Aidos]!"

You Feng's hand moved like lightning—another card appeared on the field!

[Underworld Squire – Aidos]

Dark / Level 2 / Spellcaster

ATK: 800 / DEF: 1000

"As expected of You Feng!" Asuka Tenjoin clutched her fists in excitement.

"In one turn, he anticipated Daitokuji-sensei's use of [Macro Cosmos] and [Grand Convergence]—and turned it into an advantage!"

"Essentially, Daitokuji cleared his own field—for You Feng!"

"He's opened the path for a clean imperial offensive!"

This duel had all the thrill of an epic film, and it had everyone hooked.

"Asuka, are you... blushing?" Fubuki Tenjoin teased, smiling at his sister.

"It's the adrenaline! Watching You Feng duel is just... exhilarating!"

Asuka quickly looked away, cheeks pink.

"When will I ever catch up to You Feng's dueling prowess? It's just... overwhelming," Sho Marufuji said with admiration—and a touch of envy.

"Now, thanks to [Underworld Squire Aidos], I can perform a Tribute Summon!"

"I Tribute [Squire of the Monarchs – Edea] and [Underworld Squire – Aidos]—to Summon!"

"Arise, [Erebus the Underworld Monarch]!"

"The emperor returns... eternal and supreme!"

You Feng shouted, eyes gleaming, as a towering figure emerged.

[Erebus the Underworld Monarch]

DARK / Level 8 / Fiend

ATK: 2800 / DEF: 1000

"And now, thanks to the effect of [The Prime Monarch]—once per turn, when a monster is Tribute Summoned: I can add 1 monster with 2400 ATK/1000 DEF, or a different Monarch with 2800 ATK/1000 DEF, from my Deck to my hand!"

"And don't forget the effect of [Erebus the Underworld Monarch]!"

"I send two Monarch Spell/Trap cards from my Deck to the Graveyard—and Special Summon another monarch!"

"The one I'm choosing—"

"—is [Erebus the Underworld Monarch] again!"

"You're seeing double! Dual Erebus on the field!"

The field erupted with light as a second Erebus joined the first, like divine juggernauts standing against the void.

"You had hoped to summon your Sacred Beasts, your 'Three Sons of the Sun'? Too bad!"

"The Twin Monarchs, double Erebus, will strike now!"

You Feng had completely choked out Daitokuji's tempo—cutting off his combos before they even started.

The twin Erebus monsters launched into action, their attacks synchronized like mirror images.

-2800 LP!

-2800 LP!

"Uwaaaaaah!!"

Daitokuji-sensei's entire body convulsed as the impact hit. His cards scattered like feathers in the wind, and he collapsed.

His Life Points: 0.

It wasn't even a close duel—he was outmatched and outmaneuvered at every step.

His body turned into petrified fragments, collapsing into a pile of empty robes.

The sight made Asuka and the others gasp aloud.

Only a single book remained—floating, glowing—before returning to Jun Manjoume.

"Another Gold-Rank Duelist claimed!"

With this, You Feng had completed his second Duel Integration Reward from the Golden Duel List!

The first time—against Weevil Underwood—hadn't counted, as the system hadn't activated yet.

Now, eight more remain...

In the shadows of the academy's back mountain, a white-haired man stood alone.

His crimson eyes gleamed with malice as he whispered to himself:

"Interesting... so the legend of the Three Sacred Beasts truly is alive here..."

64. You Feng vs. Ryo Marufuji – The Duel of Storms Approaches!

The next day, at the Duel Academy infirmary...

"What?!" Jun Manjoume jolted up. "You're telling me You Feng saved me?"

"Yes," Sho Marufuji confirmed. "He faced Daitokuji-sensei in a dark duel—for your sake."

"We arrived too late. He handled it himself."

"Tch... I didn't ask him to interfere!" Jun folded his arms stubbornly, turning his head away. "But..."

He paused, his tone lower:

"...the duel between You Feng and my rival, Ryo Marufuji... That's what I care about."

"It's happening tomorrow," Asuka said. Her eyes lit up.

"The battle between You Feng and Zane Truesdale... it's going to be legendary."

"To be honest..." Sho admitted, "Even though You Feng is strong... I still think my brother has the edge."

"Yeah. Ryo's Cyber Dragon deck is famous for its blitz tactics. It adapts and crushes fast," Jun nodded, serious for once.

"But hey—nothing's guaranteed in a duel," said Fubuki, shrugging with a grin.

---

Later, as You Feng walked the academy grounds, he was approached by a familiar group—Yugi Mutou, Anzu Mazaki, and others.

"You Feng, did you really take on a dark duel yesterday?" Yugi asked.

You Feng yawned, hands in his pockets. "Yeah. Wasn't a big deal."

"In this world, dark duels are practically everywhere now."

He smirked, already thinking about the storm that tomorrow's duel would bring.
