[This serves as an introduction to the worlds and some of its people and mechanics,it'll have some spoiles but I'll try as much as possible to avoid them.]
◇The World
Not To say much but Aetherion is made up of a collection of several realms forming a network of island like structures. It's laid out like this, imagine the sun as you know it but instead of multiple planets there is only one planet in barrier rotating the sun.
Below the sun is a huge island that seems to be broken into several parts,some different, some alike in a couple of ways.
In the center of the large island is the world tree, and above it is the sun. All of this is surrounded by a thick layer of energy, the meridian. It covers the sun, the planet Orbiting the sun and the central island Below and most the islands but some of them are outside it.
The planet in the barrier is the mortal realm, a realm where the story begins, the people here don't know about the barrier because it acts as a fake sky and protects and traps humanity inside.
The sun is not a sun but a place called the Celestial palace.
The islands act like this, as you reach the meridian sea the islands go lower but as you move to the world tree the islands are higher.
Some people believe the world is a sentient entity.
◇The Celestial Palace
This is a huge palace that is the pinnacle of the worlds and it's believed to be heaven and home to The One by many.It radiates a light so strong its seem as a star by those below.
◇The World Tree
An enormous tree found on the central island, its roots stretch out to the other worlds holding the network of islands together. It's home to most of the spiritual races like Fairies and spirits.
It's also believed to be sentient.
◇Races
There are many Races of different creatures and beings but we'll be discussing humans only. Now humanity has three races ;
1.The Dyari make up the majority of the Empire and the world ,they are white skin and they are known for their intellect and are physically gifted.
2.Normari take second place in population,the are dark skin and make up the empire's workforce they are physically stronger than the Dyari and have good instincts and judgment.
3.The Xynari are a group that has grown scarce.They are known as a dying breed ,they are pale and have less physical strength than the others but they are the smartest among the other races.They are the masters of reasoning and logic.
◇Aether And Dominion
Aether is known as the origin of everything and its still held high today by scholars and wise man. Everything in the world is a result of the movement of aether and can be a small or big event.
Almost every living being has aether and it can be drawn and applied in everyday life.But it hard to use by most of the population despite most having an ample amounts of it.Only hard working Apprentices and practitioners can make use of it safely.
Then there is Dominion ,it's known as the power of the soul and not much is known about it .
◇Graces and Veils
The power of a blessing is known as a grace and power of a curse is known as a veil. It's never good to have one of these one turns a person into a holy twisted figure and the other into a creature fueled by corruption. They are a known side effects of the rift.
◇The Rift
An even that took place almost 10000 years before the story's beginning and a known cause of the holy and unholy mutations of the miracles of the unknown God and the Ancients
◇The Miracle
An entity that exists beyond the Meridian sea. It's character is unknown,so is its motive.
◇The Meridian
A sea of aether that covers the majority of the the outer realms.
◇The Unknown God
An entity that empowers the miracle and delivered authorities to the Ancients and still delivers Graces and veils to mortals.
◇The Ancients
The Ancients or Ungods are deities that existed during the Era of chaos before humanity 's creation and the first authorities.
◇Authorities
An authority is an aspect of reality or the world ,it grands control over a concept or idea granted the wielder can comprehend it.
◇The One
A holy figure known as the father of humanity and the first God before the Ancients, he is believed to be the creator of the worlds.
The Worlds of Aetherion are brutal, nothing is as simple as it seems and the norm is war.
