These were the least examples of what happens in this organization. Humans are taken and sold as slaves to the dogs. The little child who was taken from his mother is neither the first nor the last; he is among thousands. This wasn't a pivotal point but merely foam in an ocean.
The auction began for the girl at a thousand coins, which immediately doubled when one of the wealthy dogs offered four thousand. The auctioneer said, "Who bids more than four thousand coins? If no one bids..."
"One... Two... Three..."
Then another offered ten thousand.
The auctioneer exclaimed, "Ten thousand!"
"One... Two... Three... The item is sold."
The auction continued until the child was sold.
But how did this child grow up?
Seven years ago, a couple had their second child. They lived within the lands of the dogs. They worked to pay the high taxes, which were met with death.
The father was kind and compassionate, spending his son's early years raising him on humanity. His son reached the age of seven.
One day, the father saw his neighbor's family being kidnapped by a human gang under the dogs' shadow. He protected their little girl, only to be surprised by a hybrid dog among them who slapped him, sending him flying.
The father tried to enter his house to get any lethal tool. As soon as he entered, the dog followed him and struck him down.
The son saw his father being dragged in front of him. His mother, who tried to protect her husband, was also dragged. He screamed, and events unfolded until we returned to the auction point.
The child was sold to a faction of war dogs to work as a servant. The child lived a harsh life as their slave. He worked during the day as their servant and at night worked for an hour, sleeping for an hour, and if he was fortunate, two hours.
This life was akin to hell. He was beaten and tortured, and this continued until he reached the age of ten.
One day, he heard about a visit from another faction. Everyone was preparing; the child sneaked in under the pretense of cleaning. He found the faction leader's room empty. He entered the room and glanced around, finding two envelopes for mail. He read the contents of the letters and swapped them between the envelopes.
"And this here..."
"Good, excellent, even wonderful."
He left and continued working.
The next day, he saw the mail carrier taking the envelopes to deliver them. He quickly went to work, wondering what would happen.
Two days remained until the arrival of the other faction's delegation. This might be his chance to escape; I don't think it's available everywhere.
