Chapter 6 - Chapter 5 - Multidimensional Invasions

Across the cosmos exist beings named Hyper-Ghosts. Hyper-Ghosts exist in a higher dimension and break through time-space to get to wherever it is they want to go. A group of Hyper-Ghosts target planets with lots of life inhabiting it, not only do they viciously kill everyone living in it, but they play with their victims before doing so. They have jagged mouth shapes and large bug-like eyes. They all have a white tail on the back of their white heads, so they look like walking sperm. On Earth, Seygah, Damian, and Eichika arrive at Damian's home city. "This is where my people are. I have some friends that I want you two to meet. They're good people. Chaotic but good," Damian says with an excited smile, "it's been so long."

"So what are their names?" Seygah asks.

"We'll get to that when we meet up with them, don't worry." Damian replies. The city was your typical city. Boisterous, large screens showing whatever, large crowds of people everywhere you walk. Seygah isn't used to such crowds that aren't trying to kill him. Eichika, being a little girl, is obviously anxious and clinging to Damian again, with a strange amount of trust in him. "Hungry?" Damian smiles pointing at a restaurant. They go into the restaurant to eat. "It's been so long since I've had real food like this…" Eichika tears up a bit as she's only eaten the smelly raw meat from animals. She ordered spaghetti, Damian ordered a steak, Seygah ordered chicken wings, all basic foods but delicious nonetheless. The sound of glass breaking is heard from one of the tables near one of the large windows. Everyone in the restaurant look to see a man standing up and flipping a table, hurting the one who was sitting at it. "Cut it out, idiots! Take it outside." Seygah exclaims. The angry dude throws a plate at him in which Seygah easily catches of course, and throws it back at him, then starting a fight, getting the angry dude, Seygah, and his group kicked out. "Thanks a lot…moron." Damian sulks. "Not my fault, he threw the plate at me!" Seygah responds back. The angry dude comes around and bickers with Seygah and Damian, Eichika though just stares at the sky, sensing something or some things are coming.

Cracks open up in the middle of the sky and sounds of roaring echo throughout the now silent city. Everybody in the city looks up at the sky. A metal head with brown spiked hair, black shades, sharp teeth and the letter "Z" on his lower right cheek just beside his mouth drops down next to Damian. A girl with an upside down crescent moon shaped symbol on her forehead, a circle in the middle of the arch of it, and three arch symbols going down below her left eye. "Yo!" The metal head yells. "Zachary!" Damian exclaims happily,

"Oval, too!" The girl waves silently with a little smile. "Kate should be coming soon, just give her a minute." Zachary says before he looks up to see the sky cracked as if it were a glass material. Oval notices the sky too and takes a picture using her device that she invented. "I see! Hyper-Ghosts!"

"Hyper-Ghosts? Those ugly bastards ain't @$&%! to us!" Zachary roars. Then. It happened. The sky broke open, and hoards of flying Hyper-Ghosts flooded the entire city, wreaking havoc and inflicting pain, killing and destroying. "We have to stop them! But what can we do?" Seygah yells. "This is my time to shine…" Damian says to himself as he floats upward then getting a good view of the city. "Eye of God: Void!" He calls, as his eyes fuse to make one big eye, his other facial features gone. A purple-colored pocket dimension is created, specifically entrapping all of the Hyper-Ghosts in it, and everyone else is left unaffected. But the city is already damaged enough. Seygah, Eichika, Zachary, and Oval look around as the Hyper-Ghosts disappeared all of a sudden. "Where did they go?" Eichika wonders out loud. "Damian trapped them into a pocket dimension." Oval answers blankly. "Can he handle all of them alone?" Seygah asks, of course worried. Oval only nods.

Now inside the pocket dimension, Damian is now facing off against millions of Hyper-Ghosts all by himself. "Let's make this interesting," Damian mutters, his single eye glowing with divine power. A halo of black flames surrounds him as he raises a hand. An immense pulse of gravity crushes dozens of Hyper-Ghosts instantly, their bodies folding in on themselves like paper. With every powerful swipe of his hand, energy courses throughout the infinite dimensional space, hitting every Hyper-Ghost in range of the attack. "This is easy! A little too easy though…that's not all there is to it, right?" Damian mutters to himself. As he catches his breath an immense power fills the endlessly expansive void. All of the Hyper-Ghosts begin fusing—writhing, screeching, merging in a menacing spiral of flesh and cosmic power . Their bodies contort, congeal, and swell into a massive abomination, towering above Damian. The Hyper-Boss is born. A grossly bulky figure with bulging eyes and muscles, it twitched and shook in the most inhumane way possible and the eye in the middle of its chest looked all around frantically. Then, the sound of something thin tearing can be heard a couple meters away from Damian. Like tearing silk from the cosmos, Seygah rips open the very structure of the realm—not just bending reality, but severing the rules of space.

He steps through slowly.

And he's changed.

Seygah's form evolves as he adapts to the alien nature of this dimension. Large, dark wings spread from his back, made of shifting light and shadow. His horns curve upward now, grand and more bestial. A distinct black line runs down the center of his face, reaching the bridge of his nose before curving sideways across his right cheek like a branding scar. His presence causes the pocket dimension to slightly quake.

With a roar of his own, Seygah launches into battle against the Hyper-Boss. Their clash is apocalyptic. Seygah dodges impossibly fast tendrils, severs massive arms with pinpoint strikes, and tears through layered defenses like paper. He charges his fist with a spiraling burst of energy, wings flared wide. "Collapse."

He punches through the Hyper-Boss's core, obliterating its eye, its form collapsing in on itself. But instead of disappearing, the monster reshapes again—this time into something more disturbing. A giant, floating severed head—blank white face, black bug eyes devoid of life, jagged cracks across its forehead, with long white tentacles emerging from its sliced-open neck. Its mouth twitches… then opens in a haunting moan. The tentacles thrust toward Seygah, and Seygah dodges them. "It's even taster now! Gr!" He practically performs absurd acrobats as the tentacles attack him in tricky, unpredictable patterns. Seygah sharpens one of his wings and performs a slash attack, but the attack misses and instead it opens a hole leading out of the pocket dimension back into the main world. "Oh no!" Damian yells as the Severed Hyper-Boss Head (SHBH) flies out of the pocket dimension. "We have to get it! Now! Come on!" Seygah yells as he grabs hold of Damian's arm and brings him to the hole. They jump out and the hole closes, as if nothing happened, the sky was clear blue with only three clouds. "Did you guys see that flying head?" Seygah asks. "Y-Yeah…it was really fast and big!" Eichika responds. "I'm glad you guys are okay, though." Zachary says calmly, which is unusual for him because he really has an outgoing and chaotic personality. "Well it's gone now. How can we find it?" Oval asks nervously somewhat hiding behind her device. "We'll have to either follow a path of destruction or search its presence and follow it." Damian says. Seygah and Damian are both in their base forms at this moment.

The ground starts to shake. "What now?! Give us a second!" Seygah screams angrily. A giant worm pops out of the ground, but this was no ordinary worm. This worm had dots all around it and had a black body. "What are you?!" Damian yells. "I am the worm of some worlds! I contain millions of universes in my body! These universes strengthen me!" The worm responds loudly and confidently. "Is that so?" Seygah responds before one-shotting it with an energy beam from his mouth. "Oh—looks like I evolved again!" He says laughing cheekily. "This guy's something else, eh? Taking out an entity like that! Makes you seem like you're close to having the potential to become a little punching bag of ours!" Zachary cackles.

"Shut up," Damian scoffs, "he's only joking."

Seygah shrugs it off. "We should get moving. We've no time to waste." The group agree and they all head the same direction, Damian carrying Eichika as expected. He's like her new father, a new father in his mid-thirties. From behind a cute cat girl with pink hair that only reaches to her neck and pink cat ears is seen flying on a giant translucent paw. "Hey, guys!" She says happily, she might as well be the very embodiment of femininity itself. "Kate! Glad you made it in time!" Damian exclaims happily. Kate smiles bubbly. "One hundred and twenty miles away! Let's go! Let's go! Faster! Faster!" Oval calls. Then, the entire group accelerates to catch up with the Severed Hyper-Boss Head (SHBH). They stop and land at an open grass field with a gigantic mountain, an absolutely massive mountain. "So where could this flying bastard be anyway?" Zachary asks cracking his neck and doing stretches. Then, millions of SHBHs appear from behind the mountain. "WHOAH! Why are there so many?!" Oval yells in fear, hiding behind Seygah. "Don't hide behind me! Can't you fight?"

"Shut up, guys! We have to stay focused…!" Damian shouts. Up atop that mountain a familiar person with a scar on his face leans against the rocky wall of it. He scoffs. "These fools…they stand no chance against these things…"

Seygah notices, miles and miles away he sees the figure up on that mountain. "I wonder who that is…" he says out loud. Kate charges up a giant paw attack and launches it at the SHBHs, causing immense damage to them. "Critical hit!" She yells happily, like this is nothing to be taken too seriously. Damian smiles as he runs to them. They're idle thousands of feet in the air, but they soon will attack. "What can someone do in a situation like this? Ridiculous…" Seygah stares at the nightmare army of flying severed Hyper-Ghost heads, "…these guys are totally capable of destroying the universe and its dimensions and pocket dimensions."

Oval does research on her device, still cowering. Then all the millions of tentacles coming flying, the group starts fighting back. Seygah starts maneuvering past the tentacles, and then he runs up the mountain, comically defying gravity. He then encounters the figure he saw, it's Momoshiki, but he doesn't recognize him as he's different now. He's more rugged and has a mean scar on his cheek, his hair is different and his skin is a bit darker. "Who are you?" Seygah asks.

"I don't have to answer that." Momoshiki replies. "Why are you mad?"

"I'm not."

"You sound mad.

"I'm not mad."

Momoshiki looks at Seygah. "Are you running? Are you scared of the challenges that are ahead of you? Your friends down there are struggling to fight them off and you're up here talking to me." He says in an eerie tone. "I'm not afraid," Seygah responds, "I'm just overwhelmed by the consistent fighting and trying to survive is all. As of recently it's only gotten worse. It's almost as if everything's on purpose…like I'm some kind of pawn in a game…or something like a protagonist."

For a moment there was silence between the two. "Who are you?"

All of a sudden Momoshiki grows four giant arms made of pure darkness, but visible as stretchy black matte arms. "I'm Momoshiki."

"Momo?!" Seygah yells emotionally, "what is this?"

"You left me all alone just like I expected! Fluxes are monsters! They only kill and think about themselves. I could've been killed by anything, but I survived. These arms? Don't even worry about them, it's not like you'd really care in the first place! When I was a child, I was abandoned by my cowardly parents, I was taken by hostile Fluxes—"

Seygah takes off running before Momoshiki could finish speaking, which enrages him. His extra arms bend and stretch to attack Seygah. Seygah chips off a piece of the mountain big enough for him to stand on and jumps off the mountain's cliff, he then starts flying with the part, not that he needs a host to fly but for the theatrics of it. Seygah uses an energy ball and destroys the entire mountain, Momoshiki uses debris to fly with, and chases down Seygah. The SHBHs stop attacking suddenly. "What happened? Why did they stop?" Zachary asks. "I don't know…something weird is going on. What's that one guy doing anyway?!" Oval exclaims, pointing at the action between Seygah and Momoshiki. "Is that…" Damian pauses. Seygah and Momoshiki exchange punches and kicks, Seygah grabs Momoshiki by the back of his head and falls, slamming him onto the ground, creating a big boom. Dust and rocks fly in the others faces. "Get ahold of yourself! Do you really think we just forgot about you?" Seygah says holding Momoshiki down, "yeah, I do!" Momoshiki barks back. Seygah hesitates then nods, shrugging. "Bastard!" Momoshiki then slips out of Seygah's grip and uppercuts him right on the jaw. Seygah stumbles back, slightly dizzy. "Fine." Seygah begins to grow bigger and bigger, his entire body succumbing to his anger, causing it to warp and distort into a being of pure madness. "What's even happening right now? This is too random…" Damian moans. Seygah turns back to normal, but like Momoshiki he's given in to a dark form. Like a blackened fog Seygah throws a barrage of attacks at Momoshiki. They fight, then something happens. With Seygah turned around, Momoshiki pierces a hole through his chest.

Seygah falls limp to the ground.

Seygah is dead. Momoshiki turns to look at the others, showing no malicious intent towards them. "I'm sorry but…there was no other way. The world had to be fixed!" He says. Oval ponders for a moment, "Is that a reference to an anime? Sounds familiar…"
